Hey Peggy - surprised to see no chin rest on your fiddle. Any reason? Did you know these things were not added to fiddles until the middle part of the 19th century? When I first started playing I tried to rest my chin on that thing. What a mistake that was, started me getting all kinds of pain. Thankfully someone finally told me it's not a chin rest at all... more of a jaw rest.
No chin rest or jaw rest for me...lol. I've tried different ones and finally realized I was wasting my money on something that just wasn't gonna work for me...yes, lots of pain involved in finding that out. I prefer no chin rest and no shoulder rest either one. Just hang onto it as best as I can any way I can. I did know that the shoulder rest is a pretty new invention, and that the chin rest is a fairly newer invention too. I have a box of both...failed experiments.
I've recently been cross tuning about 80% of the time. Love it! Thanks for putting this up!
Thanks, Bob! Cross tuning is fun, isn't it?
Thanks so very much for sharing your wonderful knowledge with us! Enjoyed learning some cross tunings and how they are different 👍👏🇺🇸✌🏻🎻🤠
Thank you, John! Thanks for the request!
this sounds great and done so well
Thanks, Frank. Glad you liked it.

Enjoyed that, and I'm not a fiddle player.
Happy you liked it, Dick! Thank you.
