MASLOW'S HIERARCHY OF NEEDS
Every step of the ladder, seen individually or socially, can be associated with a type of Psychology. Some may go forward unaware of the changes they go through or avoid, some others like going through an introspection detailed process.
It is standard for a pyramid to start from a large base that gets reduced on the way up, but it too, can be compared, with an antenna where we get more vibrations going up!
Self-actualization or self-realisation, can be considered as a Secular scheme and as such anchored to a base! This is a meeting 'space' between Jungian Psychology, Spituality, Buddhism, Taoism and so much more. On the contrary to some perspectives, high levels of Spirituality can be associated with 'radical' pragmatism.
Seen from the top, the bottom or the side, this pyramid is important because of the necessity to appreciate that the steps can be integrated together, or be present isolated voluntarily or as a 'fate'.
To associate YIN YANG to our endless 'evolution' may soften the process.
We all want happiness and that should be our only motivating factor... it's the purpose of life for everyone; to be happy...
As human being we have to struggle to ge those basic needs at the bottom which ever way to be happy in life.
