I’d read a bunch of his other books over the years (Head Full of Ghosts, Cabin at the End of the World, Survivor Song, and Growing Things) and liked some of them but not really vibed with most of it. Horror Movie was just too intriguing of a book for me to not pick up and I’m SO glad I did and finally found the Paul Tremblay books that are for me 🥰 Also: if you do end up picking up the Gray House ever I’d be so interested in your thoughts. It’s a fever dream of a book and one of the most unique reading experiences I’ve ever had.
