Hey 'The Moderator' Of course you can. I'd say Futsal goals are much more forgiving as regards to size and stature. If you work of reflexes and technique then absolutely. Train hard, play hard and you can achieve.

This guy is a gun. Great video. Id like to know if their are any drills that somebody can do on their own as the team I play for is only a social team once a week game no training or anything like that - some of which have busy commitements therefore don;t have the time and inclination to train however I want to rain therefore looking for some training videos to do on my own.

Hi David, great video, much appreciated :) I'm also a futsal goalkeeper and have long legs and arms, just like you do (I'm 189cm tall). The thing I tend to struggle most with, and something that doesn't come for me naturally, is diving with the leg, almost going into a split, as you do at around 0:34. I think my main issue is that I'm just not agile enough.
Do you have any good exercises for becoming more agile, like stretching the muscles, or do you just do practicle exercises as shown in the video?
    Best regards :)

honestly, futsal goalkeeping is much harder that actual football goalkeeping, to me at least. i find it hard to limit my movements and it is just absolutely hard to resist going to dive for the ball. I've done countless saves in many football matches, but i can't seem to do so well in futsal. people keep on saying i should make less movements and don't do dives. any tip to restraining my football movements and ace my futsal goalkeeping?

Josiah Bahari a tip i can give you(as a football goalie who started playing futsal) is to keep you balance low, most of the shots are low/middle ranged. keeping you balance low(so your legs quite open) let's you cover more space and it gets easier to stop low shots. and yes, try to not dive, or at least, not do traditional football dives. they make you lose precious time on such a small field :) hope it can help

Try playing indoor soccer with nets, thats probably the hardest of the lot. At least with Footsall you tap it over the crossbar and the ball is out of play with indoor with nets, you tap it, goes onto the net, they shoot again it misses the goals and goes onto the net and rebounds just to give the strikers another chance. Not easy.

I try to do this technique but I always get megged, and sometimes is like I dont even see the ball as fast as they kick it. Ive had a few good saves but its getting megged what makes me mad. And sometimes also I try to save the ball but its like it bends my hand cause they cannon blast it like 8ft away from me. Any tios on how to be better 1v1?

Do you usually wear gloves or it's just part of the training? Great vid

I do, I almost always wear gloves - I feel very comfortable in them. I know that you lose a little bit of precise handling, but I value feeling comfortable and my confidence more highly.

I see many people keep on speaking about
Nobaskeron Secrets (just google search it). But I'm not sure if it's
good. Have you ever tried using this popular training course?
