ty sir.................
Thank's a lot David.. I am from Indonesia.. I am happy every watching your tutorial video's.. It is very useful.. I learn a lot of technique from you.. I am more comfortable when use 'block save' but a little confused about my legs style.. :D
Hey ya Surya,
I'm delighted that you enjoy the channel and the videos. I'm pleased it's been useful.
The 'block save' is great, don't worry too much about what leg you go down on that much, just keep doing it fast and making saves. it will get easier and you'll become better and better over time.
David Haynes Thanks a lot for replied my comment.. (y) i am so happy.. and thank you so much for your motivation for me.. :)
okay i try to do block save more faster.. yeayy..
can i ask you something again? what is your opinion? .. i always too fast when decided going out from the goal to catch the ball.. that situation will happen when 3 on 2.. the '2' are my defender.. and '3' are opponent striker.. i can't trust my defender.. so when defender attacking to striker who brings the ball, i attacking to that same striker to.. hahahaa.. it is so funny.. the striker can read my movement and passing the ball to his friends. and they all making goal.. :'(
My neighbour is already 57 but he is super fit and is an football alrounder,he is a doctor for back problems and he is also a good goalkeeper. He said that a shot comes on a handball goal you only have to be in ready position, to step to the ball, get into ready Position and move your hands down to the ball and catch it.Is this also ok? In which situations shouldn't you use this?
I'm from Indonesia your youtube channel good for goalkeeper 🙌
Haikal taj malik and i same with u
Cảm ơn người đã truyền cảm hứng cho tôi 😍
Can u plzz tell how to do the diving saves ?
u are legende
Are you coming back with more videos any time soon?
David Haynes please tell some penlty saving tips
@davidhaynes cam i share your videos to my futsal group ? i want my team mate watch it too
Of course you can!
if the break through a wing but have n open man in middle of opposite wing for a square how do you position. Too close near post the square and shoot open goal. Too far it's goal at the near post and that sucks
love the video, great advise! maybe consider a microphone with all the yelling in the back :)
Hey David Haynes, How ya keepin?
david. i just want to ask you. Can you do a vid for catching the ball... the technique of doing it, because it slips out of my handa sometimes
Yes! I need to do a futsal specific one for this. I wanna talk about handling, catching, parrying and punching. :)
+David “Love Futsal” Haynes Thank you for giving me a hand.
cheeky pun there haha
From Indonesia 🐥
The same things apply for 5-a-side keepers?
I'd say yes, absolutely :)
When a person is goal keeping is it necessary to catch the ball or just deflect it ?
Deflect. Ur jobs done as long as the ball isn’t in ur goal
May you make a video talking about how take the ball with the hand? I have some problems doing it
Yes! I need to do a futsal video on this exact topic! I wanna talk about handling, catching, parrying and punching. Comprehensively cover all the tiny details and give you all the tips you need. Stay tuned for this one :)
David Haynes I have futsal classes there time a week but we don't have so many theoretical exercises, and I'm getting it here. I was the best goalkeeper in my last interclass games, but as you know goalkeepers don't do anything without good defenders. A new student has entered in my school and I'm trying to reinvent my techniques to defend the goal...
I remember reading something from the late, great Ray Clemence about walking around on the balls of you feet while in goal. I did it the whole time I played but I was only an amateur.
"how you keeping at"
"Give you a hand"
Nice puns david
It's all about the puns ;)
Boas dicas
Obrigado!
Teach me about pinalty please...😀
how do i deal with 2 vs 1 counter? meaning 2 strikers coming at me with one running to the far post and one of them has an option either to shoot or pass to his teammate...
mark hilary
Focus more on the one with the ball and try and close him down only when he gets near the goal, don't rush out early, instead just make sure you keep blocking the one with the ball and try and force them onto their weaker side, or the side that is away from his backup so that you cut off space for him to pass if he has the chance.
Dwayne k27ism when to know when to rush out and when to stand your ground? sometimes people often tells me that i rushed out to early and sometimes i waited to long
Similar case with me, it's mostly down to the circumstance. I almost always rush out in every scenario because I close down the attackers view on goal and this can make them be more prone to mistakes as they well panic (most of the time) but have been told that I rush out too early. Personally, I find it necessary to rush out early in a 1 v 1 because if i just stand there on my line I give the attacker to much time to think and plan out his move.
In terms of when to know when to rush out, like I said, it depends on the situation, but I usually wait to see how far they are from the semi circle and make sure that as soon as they just enter the semi circle and it is 1 v 1 I am already 3-4 steps out of my line in the crouched position ready to block their shot and split save. (most shots are low since they will most likely try and tap one through my legs).
Sometimes if it is 1 v 1 I have been told to try and force them to their weak side (if they are right footed, force them to their left side and vice versa) so it will be hard for them to take a good shot, you can only do that if you come off your line slowly monitoring their pace just as they are about to enter the semi circle.
In other times, it is best to stay where you are, such times can be a 2 v 1, just stay where you are and wait for the shot, what i have noticed is that in my country the strikers spread out far and expect me to charge so they will pass to their teammate. If both are well spaced out and in the semi circle, i just stay where I am and anticipate when they will shoot to make a dive.
Usually I avoid 1 v 1 by organizing my team, I yell out to them when we are not in possession who is unmarked or whatever, or if there is a player making a run, since many occasions my players focus on the player who has the ball, so I direct them from the back and rarely get a 1 v 1 since we communicate.
Dwayne k27ism thanks for the tips...
Is that Edvard Norton? )))
