I don't think a couple of weeks allowance is enough. Apparently, though i don't know if this info is reliable, AoT was given 1 year for 5 or so episodes but they were STILL in that exhausted state. I love how this fight was way worse in the anime. Like in terms of deaths. It was already bad in the manga with just the domain killing people in the 140 meters area. But here the fight was longer, MORE people died, and the collateral damages tripled. And throughout all of that, Sukuna was emoting and laughing his ass off.
@@felipeguedescampos851yeah in the manga and anime there is the same level of destruction, but in the manga is almost exclusively from the DE. I really hope they get a delay or hiatus, they NEED it. for their health sake, and for the sake of the product. the upcoming fight NEEDS this level of time and work. mappa animators deserve time to rest. i loved the color palate this episode, everything being a darker shade and washed out. while sukuna was this pop of red and mahoraga was the only shade of white, made their fight so vibrant and eye catching. also at 3:25 i just noticed mahoraga is using the leg sukuna cut off of him early as a weapon. crazy details, extreme passion was put into this episode and it showed.
STOP praising anything mappa bring out. the animators did a good job sure but literally enslaving animators cannot be called peak. rushing to release times and releasing unfinished work IS NOT PEAK. ghosting over well animated scenes so you cant tell whats going on *IS NOT PEAK*
It was pure mayham and destruction. Simply what JJK is all about. And not to mention the king and his future general duking it out and how happy both of them were. Mahoraga looked super happy to finally meet a worthy opponent while sukuna looked super happy to see someone able to see his technique. sukuna was like a child getting his hands on his favourite toy. What madness and joy. A visual treat of an episode this was....
Animators hated this episode and said it's only 30% of what the envisioned. If you thought THIS was generational, you'll never know the GOAT episode that could've. As a manga reader, i was highly disappointed by Mappa's decisions to either skip/botch some of the most iconic panels from the manga. Ppl need to stop the praise and letting Mappa abuse their animators.

hope they get the break they need and deserve they are the people who turn this anime into what it is and it needs to be recognized more props to the animators, sound engineers, voice actors, background artist for making such a beautiful anime i enjoyed every episode truly a work of art at play
I don’t care if this episode only managed to be 30% done or whatever the animators did an amazing job. This was the best episode and fight of the year 🔥 The show has really been getting more hype with each episode since season 2 started and last episode was like the grand climax. Arc’s not over yet but man.. gonna be a while before they top this one.
yeah they continue to impress with 10% of the time of every other good editor. one piece has downtime. fate has downtime. these are the best animators we have ever seen
Bro don’t over exaggerate about the animation,it was alright.Considering the amount of workload put behind the animators,I think they did a great job and they deserve some appreciation but that doesn’t define it as “excellent”.
I dunno about the animation, I feel the guy from devilman crybaby animated this but it was disorienting to me going from one animation style to disproportion body sizes. I had to stop and google to see if Mahoraga could change size since the man grabbed a train like it was a whip. And then there was that one scene with Sakuna holding his arms out, his arm span is the size of his body it’s wierd, other than that the fight was hype AF
fuck yes love the moral of the video. transform attitudes about how we celebrate good animation so that in the future the individuals can hold the power over these production studios
mahagora isn’t the tenth. So far he had used Nue, Frog, Divine Dogs, Dear, Bull, Rabbits, Mahagora, the snake, and Elephant. He has yet to reveal the 10th.
Mentioning Dear/ bull must mean you’ve read the manga? It’s stated that Fusion beast Agito contains “Mourning Tiger” which is probably the ninth.( unless Deer/Bull is 9th)
I really dislike how much people are criticizing the animation while simultaneously praising the animators. We've been eating good. Even though mappa sucks, the art has been beautiful to behold and people who never would have noticed any framing issues are acting like snobbish experts. It's soo disingenuous.
It does look 30% complete though, what’s so nuts about it? Would you expect something less from an animation team that produced work that was 30% complete? Or something more?
I just felt there was so much polish missing compared to what there generally is. One could claim its an art style, but I prefer how Season 1 was done (in terms of polish). It is clear the animators were rushed, at times it was very hard to understand what was going on. I think with more time, this could of been one of the greatest action sequences in anime period.
With so much happening in the back ground, it felt like the background was fighting instead of the two characters. If someone who hasn't read the manga watched this fight, they wouldn't know wtf is going on.
my kinda of headcannon is that mahoraga adapts to the size of the area it’s in, growing bigger or smaller depending on what it needs, like when sukuna is in the air, or it is in the open
The animators are doing there best to tell me they’re better than the manga and honestly they probably are at this point, if the Gojo vs Sukuna fight is this good and it’s extended like the past few fights I don’t see an argument for the manga being better than the anime and that’s a win in itself
Could the animation be better? Oh yes certainly, but honestly it was still amazing and under the circumstances they are currently in the animators did basically a miracle here
4:09 if you look in the background mahoraga probably swallowed some chemicals and thats why he threw up and when his wheel spun it adapted to the chemicals

A lot happens in the episode. You probably need to watch it a few times to catch everything lol. It's very impressive.
Makora looked as poorly drawn as early episodes of DB Super.
Won’t happen. Already denied. We got fugged.
@@YourExGranPappiIt’s a complicated design to keep drawing correctly with the time they had…
I didn't mind it much if it didn't overstay it's welcome.
STOP praising anything mappa bring out. the animators did a good job sure but literally enslaving animators cannot be called peak. rushing to release times and releasing unfinished work IS NOT PEAK. ghosting over well animated scenes so you cant tell whats going on *IS NOT PEAK*
Sakuna is a beautiful monster, and the score to this and animation was fantastic.
7:05 Mappa just SNAPPED and decided: "Oh my god I'M TIRED OF THIS LAME ASS SMALL LITTLE FUCKING SCENES OF DESTRUCTION THAT'S IT BABY FIRE NUKE!"
Animators hated this episode and said it's only 30% of what the envisioned. If you thought THIS was generational, you'll never know the GOAT episode that could've.
As a manga reader, i was highly disappointed by Mappa's decisions to either skip/botch some of the most iconic panels from the manga. Ppl need to stop the praise and letting Mappa abuse their animators.
dude… this has to have been the BEST anime explanation video i’ve ever seen on youtube
that spoiler warning ⚠️ was perfect, all i had to do was cover the screen and that was it! you didn’t add extra information when talking about the spoiler either and i really appreciate it
AND, you deadass just provided me with a way to actual try and help make a change in the lives of these animators which i’m grateful for
i’m touched by your kind soul
✨ thank u
Wow, that's a lot of praise! I appreciate the kind words immensely.
i already loved the video details and everything , then the "skip ahead if u want 0 spoilers" was generational talent brother.
I remember when mahoraga was dragging half of shibuyas buildings along with just so he could continue whooping sukunas ass
On demon time fr
It is generational, by that I mean the animators were already a few generations in the building before they get to go home.
Literally lmao
Bruh! At this rate, Gojo vs Sukuna is going to decimate the internet when it gets animated
“lightwork”
Animators rn 💀
Damn dude this is a good review of the episode. People should probably watch your videos since I saw a lot of the reactors of this episode confused of what's happening lmao. Keep doing this man, you're doing great.
hah! Thanks. To be fair to them, I have read the manga many times so I know what to look for and I watch the episode 2-3 times as I'm writing the script.
This episode is perfect. The music. The animation. Fuck.
hope they get the break they need and deserve they are the people who turn this anime into what it is and it needs to be recognized more props to the animators, sound engineers, voice actors, background artist for making such a beautiful anime i enjoyed every episode truly a work of art at play
i just hope they could re animate it to the fullest because this episode is one of the masterpiece of the JJK.
I don’t care if this episode only managed to be 30% done or whatever the animators did an amazing job. This was the best episode and fight of the year 🔥
The show has really been getting more hype with each episode since season 2 started and last episode was like the grand climax. Arc’s not over yet but man.. gonna be a while before they top this one.
yeah they continue to impress with 10% of the time of every other good editor. one piece has downtime. fate has downtime. these are the best animators we have ever seen
Only 30%. That will live in my head forever.
5:39 bro didnt wanna let his intrusive thought win and make a 9/11 joke 💀
I don't know what youre talking about...
Bro don’t over exaggerate about the animation,it was alright.Considering the amount of workload put behind the animators,I think they did a great job and they deserve some appreciation but that doesn’t define it as “excellent”.
Sukuna shows off his second mouth.
Phrasing BOOM!!
What dat mouth do
If you're impressed by this level of animation SpongeBob and SquarePants must be the Mona Lisa to you
I dunno about the animation, I feel the guy from devilman crybaby animated this but it was disorienting to me going from one animation style to disproportion body sizes. I had to stop and google to see if Mahoraga could change size since the man grabbed a train like it was a whip. And then there was that one scene with Sakuna holding his arms out, his arm span is the size of his body it’s wierd, other than that the fight was hype AF
The best anime series in this age.
I think the poses of Sukuna “breaking the fourth wall” is for us but mostly for Itadori’s memories of what happens it’s pure evil frfr
they didnt have no time and they did with it the most they do. i love that they prioriticed fluidity, it was amazing
Ive rewatched the episode 3 times in a row. Magnificent.
These are defininetly the best weekly coverings for these episodes I've seen on youtube ypu really make some great content brotha !
Your mom caught me off guard 💀😭
Huge respect for the animators and shame on you MAPPA. Don't let these S tier badass animations die.
I love how they did the animation for s2. Easily better than S1 by far
fuck yes love the moral of the video. transform attitudes about how we celebrate good animation so that in the future the individuals can hold the power over these production studios
Next fight is boutta be CRAZY.
Yuji and Todo vs Mahito
mahagora isn’t the tenth.
2:37 this is the most beautiful fight scene i have ever witnessed EVER. ma boy fucking praised the sun and smashed it fucking legendadry episode
Loved the hades music at 1:11
Great video man. Also the music transition from HxH to Hades is S tier gaht daauymn you COOKED
peak OSTs what can I do
@@Orion__no 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
I really dislike how much people are criticizing the animation while simultaneously praising the animators. We've been eating good. Even though mappa sucks, the art has been beautiful to behold and people who never would have noticed any framing issues are acting like snobbish experts. It's soo disingenuous.
honestly it was so fkn enjoyable to watch, this after such a nice fight the ep before me and my brother were hype as fk, happy as hell too.
Great analysis! You should do this every episode.
Thanks! That's the goal.
They might as well make Sukunas fight against “spoilers” a fucking movie lmfao if they extend fights this long, imagine the next lol
"MALEVOLENT KITCHEN"
-Fraudkuna
Mappa's animator probably forgot how water taste because they always drink energy drink.
Kjo beteje me te vertete ishte e mrekullueshme.
Gjithashtu kjo video ka nje produksion shume te mire dhe te kompletuar.
Te lumte!
what does this mean
I really enjoy how Msho just dropped out of NOWHERE like Doomsday.
6:50 god I really🍾 in this moment... Geez look how cool he is, the chad himself
Mahoraga went from shaq size to mfing godzilla in this fight bro really adapting to being small
The fact that mappa animators that worked on this episode said it was only 30% complete compared to their true vision is nuts
It does look 30% complete though, what’s so nuts about it? Would you expect something less from an animation team that produced work that was 30% complete? Or something more?
I love the Hades music in the background 👍 bangung video mate
Cant wait for Gojo vs Sukuna. I just cant imagine how chaotic it will be
5:35 that was kono dio da pose😂😂
I just felt there was so much polish missing compared to what there generally is. One could claim its an art style, but I prefer how Season 1 was done (in terms of polish). It is clear the animators were rushed, at times it was very hard to understand what was going on. I think with more time, this could of been one of the greatest action sequences in anime period.
“Malevolent Kitchen” bro what
bro is literally cooking
we are witnessing peak tbh... I've watched a lot of anime but this one is just a gem
the animators that animated this episode were animators that god would hire himself to make anime for him.
Animators know how to make it feel like a city is getting destroyed MHA makes it look like they took down
Goated hades ost in the background
The level of animation was excellent 🆗
This fight is amazing. I'm having a hard time even imagining how epic GvS will be.
With so much happening in the back ground, it felt like the background was fighting instead of the two characters. If someone who hasn't read the manga watched this fight, they wouldn't know wtf is going on.
Best episode by far, Mahoraga mad Sukuna try a little bit😂
I don’t like the sharpness going, one of the things Demon Slayer did so well in their animation was to keep the sharpness
Never felt this type of atmosphere and animation since Dragon Ball Z in anime . The Season 2 is too much to handle kudos to animators.
Everyone call him Maho raga because Great KING
And it wasn't even completed, imagine the masterpiece this will be in the blue ray
my kinda of headcannon is that mahoraga adapts to the size of the area it’s in, growing bigger or smaller depending on what it needs, like when sukuna is in the air, or it is in the open
This is my first time watching you, you’re A1. 👍
W vid keep it up
W comment
The animators are doing there best to tell me they’re better than the manga and honestly they probably are at this point, if the Gojo vs Sukuna fight is this good and it’s extended like the past few fights I don’t see an argument for the manga being better than the anime and that’s a win in itself
If the upcoming big fight is anything close to this I will be able to die happy
I cant wait to see the anime only's reactions to next weeks episode. If yk yk
Praising the animators over the company itsself is absolutely the right thing to do!
That hades music in the background is amazing 😂
great vid, plz
keep up my guy
Thnks, will do
Could the animation be better? Oh yes certainly, but honestly it was still amazing and under the circumstances they are currently in the animators did basically a miracle here
4:09 if you look in the background mahoraga probably swallowed some chemicals and thats why he threw up and when his wheel spun it adapted to the chemicals
nice video, u earned my sub :)
