I workout about 3 to 4 times a week but I’m nowhere near where Mike is or where some of y’all are. Not usually. Mike almost never lifts with ego, but he definitely has worked out with many different people that were lifting with almost all ego, but he wasn't. He was still lifting weights he could handle, and they were very heavy. His partners should have been no where near that weight.
Why people look down and bend neck during standing curls is not good for neck and spine...trigger points occur and forward neck issues over time. Best tip Mike, training cue is Tight butt, tight gut with eyes forward...gives you a better training effect and prevents upper back, traps and neck trigger points.

thats something ive always gotten in my life, a multitude of people always mentioning the "wait till your in your 30s", "wait till you have kids", "you can do XYZ cause you dont have a fulltime job" blah blah...what always struck me, was that the reverse was never mentioned...like I never went around people with nicer homes or more money and said, oh you have that because you dont work out and you give all your time to making money. People choose their priorities, and the problem I see is those that are focused on what other achieve and try to bring them down for it or make excuses as to why they achieved such status. Bottom line is, people are sh*t.
I got this from seeing Larry Wheels doing it. Put your entire upper body including back, neck/head against a wall or thick column. Then barbell curl. You won't be able to go heavy due to the nature of the lift but my gosh you will get a great arm workout since you can't cheat at all.

Mike, I need your advice. How do I recover from tendonitis in my elbows? I was doing a progressive overload in my training and my inner elbows began to hurt specially doing bench press and biceps and I was forced to lower the weight and do a lot of reps, but still it has been almost a year and the pain does not go fully away. Fast forward to being 65 and you will realize certain exercises and using massive weights will ruin you...yes stay as mobile as possible for as long as you can for sure..but many of us have injuries and still love training several hours a week and we do it for our health primarily...

I had a friend who had 20 inch guns he spent his whole life in the gym and retired with 100 dollars to his name guess he should have been working on the 20 dollar bill instead and by the way when he passed away he had 10 inch guns so whats the point enjoy life

I like to take the forward/backward movement out of the top of the ROM. I try to finish with exclusive UP effort for the squeeze.
