Hi, nice video thanks. One thing I'm unsure about is how you connected the dashcam to the power source? Does it connect from the fuse box to the dash cam? And you somehow run it through your car's ceiling area??
That can potentially happen in many countries :-) Probably depends on the area. I am based in Bulgaria - it is usually quite a safe place to live, but still - you never know...
Thanks for your review! Could you please advise what to buy better - ddpai mini 3 or maybe B1W Blueskysea? Or maybe just Yi Xiaomi Smart Dash Cam?)) Waiting for your reply!
These are all good - and will do the job fine. The DDPAI is in my opinion the more advanced out of them. But really - all three are great - so find which one has the most attractive price and go for it.
Nice review. I have a DDPAI M2 was just looking if there was an update to fit in my new car think I will go with this. The M2 is great. I have just one comment, in your explanation of fitting the fuse pose take offs you don’t mention it has to go the right way around. You need to find which pin is live or you could bypass the fuse and you camera and wire it will not be protected by the fuse. Hope that makes sense.
Hi. Great review. Will the app support two mini3 cameras. I am thinking of getting one for the front and one for the rear (BlackVue 2 channel equivalent) but for far less money.
Nice review. I watched a few reviews on this cam and may wait to see if if goes back up on Amazon lighting deal for less that $100. The one thing I see mentioned is bandwidth it's 12mb seems like most think quality would benefit from it being higher. Maybe 24-25MB like the A119s has I believe. I know as soon as I buy one the revised model will come out with the higher bandwidth haha

I just purchased one with the hardwire kit. Would it be feasible to add a switch as to turn it off when not in use? I don't like the idea of relying on the cam to turn itself off after a set amount of time.

@@TechMishka I did add a switch to the yellow wire and... It works perfectly. It turns it off so when I'm parked in my garage there's no need for it to be on. I've bought the cam and videos can be only received through the ddpai app on the phone. You cannot connect this cam to the PC (using USB it will just use it as a power supply ant start recording your appartament). It only keeps videos when you press the button or if the G-sensor saves it. If only i knew earlier. There are better, less complicated dashcams out there.
Is it possible to mount the camera upside down (with mount pointing to left side instead of right) and rotate the picture 180 degree in the app? It would mean that it is easier for me to put the camera out of sight.
If you mean whether it will supply enough power - I think so. The 70mai worked fine on 1A charger, meaning that likely a 2A hardwire kit will satisfy two of them.
Tech4All man thanks alot for your fast reply! One more thing, do you recommend the ddpai mini3 or the 70 mai pro, and does the 70mai pro has somthing similar to the intelligent voltage protection of the mini3 for the car battery when using the hardwire kit?

Yes, you can control multiple cameras with the app, however not simultaneously, because you have to be connected to each camera's wifi.
Hello mate, is the hardwiring kit included in the package? or is it bought seperately?
It is a separate package - not included with the retail box of the dashcam.

Yeah, but in dark it may not peform that well. Better get something with IR sensors.
How it looks when you rotate the cam and REC inside ?
You cant. Angle rotation is limited
You seem to have glossed over the app. This is an area where many Chinese dash cams struggle.

I am very glad it helps! 😇 You will like this dashcam, very easy to use and very discrete.
How many hours can you record before it starts to override the first files in looprecording mode?.
Depends on the size of the card. If it is a 32-gb card - in 1080p these are 5-6 hours.
Do you think this dash camera can be mounted on a motorcycle helmet with external battery pack and record on a traffic collision
Yes, you could of course do that. But for the sake of convenience - having an action camera may be much easier to be used.
So am I supposed to plug the DDPai Mini3 into the 1.0a or 2.1a USB port?
Dont think theres a difference other then 2.1 is faster for charging.
Generally it needs power input of 5v, 2A. If you ask about PC connection - USB 2.0 and above.
Does it have to use 2 fuses ?
With a 1fps timelaps approch to a parking mode, how would another cars number plate turn out in quality from the dash cam in the event of a collision?
I haven't experienced an exact situation with a crash, but so far everything I needed to check and see was readable.
