- We have started this year's tour of Scotland and in this video, we make our way from our home town of Barnsley and travel all the way up to Tyndrum in Western Scotland for an overnight stay before making our way on the ferry to the Isle of Mull. Tyndrum is anything but Humdrum, it has a steep history and a very valuable commodity that we can't quite believe.

Oh no, something has gone wrong. From 2:52 to 5:06 there is an issue with audio which is out of sync. Things work fine after that. Thanks to everyone that pointed it out.

Soo jealous guys love Oban, had 2 weeks at North Ledaig just near the Connell bridge you went over some years back, site next to beach looking over Mull on the Ardmucknish Bay , beautiful, enjoy
We passed through Oban but loved it instantly. The sun was shining and it made the harbour and little shops look fab

Wow, what a trip to get Dora earning her induction into the "explorer world" and plant her paws into the hisory of those that have trod before her. She and Pabs looked beautiful together as they finally went into the great outdoors as a double act. Not quite as funny as the double act you and Claire present but give them time. Loved the bit of the video where you went all "water Margin" on us Andy which was funny to watch. Not so funny and I winced at was "Let's see Andy balance on a log and slip and do himself an injury"- like last time- but that time wasnt a log Glad you stopped cos a hopping Andy might have spoiled the video- and funbarred the driving. Thanks for another bit of heaven in a travel volg. Great to see Dora finally exploring.. As ever, much respect🙏- Kenny

Weather man got it wrong again!! We were supposed to get 15-20 cm of snow over the weekend…. Turns out it didn’t want to come so it’s all dry and sunny here… having a heatwave for the time of year..! A big 7*c! If this keeps up we’ll be changing the snow tires back to summer ones…🤞👍🚐💨💨

Another category for Van Talk could be "What fact is that Claire?". David Attenborough cried after watching this because it had so many facts. I've got a fact - All dogs are nudists. Dora is so lucky having Pablo as her big brother, unless he starts pranking her, showing her the wrong places to poop. This episode was so professionally edited , except for the log balancing.

I've been following you guys for about a year and suddenly you are following me - we must have passed on the road if you were headding to Mull just after Storm Kathleen as we were headding home to Glasgow from Mull around then. DAL - RYE. and it's TYNE (like the river) DRUM. 2 stations because the west highland line divides here. The upper station is on the Fort William line and the lower is on the Oban line.

Your noy allowed to "wild park" with a vehicle anywhere in Scotland
Wild motorhome parking in Scotland
Scottish access rights AKA the right to roam, is for people on foot with tents,
it does not cover motor vehicles. They're covered under the The Road Traffic Act
1988 which states that you can't park your vehicle overnight without landowners
permission either verbal or by signage.
That’s why we stayed on campsites.

You don't need to prove you are booked anywhere. You don't have to book Fidden in advance as its massive! We stay on crofts by the sea and loads of places to wild camp. Love Fidden Farm. There's a place near there, Uisken beach, no services, Fiver a night.must be self sufficient. We hardly ever use a proper site. Have fun!

Wow, what amazing campsite on Mull. Just stunning views. I was lucky enough in my job to drive to Fort William alot so used the A82 and A85 regularly. My favourite part of the world. Good to see Dora walking around and what is it with dogs and bridges. Gotta love Pablo 🐕 😂

Told you Scotland is the best ! Few years since went to mull , Iona just across the water - beautiful. We stopped at Tyndrum in one of those pods on way to Harris for a night( last September) , bloody boiling 🥵 over 30 degrees !! Very nice site though and fish and chips good at roadside cafe . Mull is brilliant but Harris is off the charts if you can see it in the sunshine 🤞Happy camping , bittersweet for me , love watching but just feel like we’re never going to get there again 😢with one thing and another . Enjoy yourselves whilst you’ve still got your health and time to do it 👍keep your eye out for eagles , otters , bears ( only joking about the bears apart from little Dora that looks like a teddy bear 😊) xx

It's a beautiful place you four enjoy yourselves look out for white tailed eagles we spotted some when we over🙂
They sound fab. Saw some fantastic birds and some incredible sunsets 🌅
We stopped at the green welly when we did our first motorhome holiday, we emptied our waste where you stopped, it cost us a fiver, really nice place though, might stay there this time. We went to Oban. We were heading for skye, my husband got carried away with van life, he forgot we only had a week and thought we were touring Europe. The dog hated the van so we had to head back home. We are trying again this year, giving husband a route to follow, I WILL swim in the fairy pools. 😳 I think 🤣
Hi. Tyndrum site was good and it broke up our journey. Oban looked ace and we passed straight to the Ferry. Mull is incredible and we love love it. We hope you visit again this year x

BTW, we love our Ecoflow. We also bought two of the flexible 100w solar panels which are great to keep it charged up as we go into Spring/Summer. Top tip (no charge ;-)) I plugged my Ecoflow as if to charge the van and went round switching stuff on/off. The strip lights above our cupboards were robbing us of off-grid power compared to the spotlights!

We are OK awaiting some test results so fingers crossed, Berties limp has cleared up. Oban Distillery tour was quite good but not if your driving lol you also get an engraved glass. We needed to book in advance, Dora is looking more and more confident on every vlog.

We've been back from Scotland 3 weeks now, and we're already looking forward to revisiting, loved it, we made it over the Sky bridge to see the fairy pools, and wild camped just up the road from them, absolutely gorgeous scenery. Visited the Kelpies, Falkirk Wheel (although it's was all drained for maintenance, but parking was free) Fort William, Ben Nevis, Loch Ness, Inverness, Dundee, Fort Augustus and drove across the Cairngorms, beautiful. Hope you have a fabulous time and the weathers kind, happy travels and stay safe xx

@@Stchristopherofatlantis thanks for responding, we went to Mull last year for a day whilst staying at Oban, agree it’s stunning. Can highly recommend the ‘Green seafood shack’ in Oban if you get chance. It’s very close to the ferry terminal and Wetherspoons. Enjoy the tour.

That campsite next to the beach looked a perfect bucket list place to camp. It's really made us want to go there. Interested in your power station. Fidden Farm. Yes we recommend, it’s remote and windy but the views outshine that.
