- We visited Fidden Farm on the Isle of Mull in Scotland for a 2 night stop over on our Scottish tour. This was the first campsite we have been to where there wasn't any EHU, allocated pitch and we ran out of gas on a recent pitch so we had severe gas anxiety.

That sunset was beautiful 😍 It looks idyllic despite the weather. A few years ago I applied for a job on Mull and then got cold feet which I regret in hindsight. It looks wild and beautiful like the Highlands. Enjoy your road trip!

That sunset was absolutely Epic, Mull looks lovely, we’ve considered going and think your video has twisted our arm (didn’t take much twisting!!) - Surprising how much it takes to charge all the gear up isn’t it - Nothing worse than Gas Anxiety - we spent all our money on gas so couldn’t afford Starlink 😳

Highly recommend you have a night at Ellenabeich, Seil Island, just over 16 miles from Oban. You go over the Atlantic bridge (not what you’d imagine) and drive as far as you can go. You can park overnight for £10 (no facilities) but there is a pub called the Oyster bar with amazing views sitting outside the back of the pub. It’s a beautiful place, sure you’d love it.

Fab sunset.... We've got Starlink in our swift bessacarr on the "roaming" package, it's fabulous, we're off to France beginning of May for 3 months and have to do some work while we're away, so as long as we can see the sky we'll be good to work rest and play.. 👍

So glad you loved Mull . Told you amazing in the sunshine ☀️ not so in the rain but it doesn’t always rain , honest 😂 yes some amazing sunsets on the west coast of Scotland. Our best ones on beach across from Barra airport when we saw dolphins swimming in front of sunset. Now you’ve got your motorhome , when you have more time highly recommend Barra, Uists and Harris and Lewis , but long drive ! We could spend more than a year just travelling all round coast of Scotland and hopping on/ off the islands . 😊Drone shots , sunsets and music was great by the way 👍x

You have a lovely motorhome now so plenty of time to see the sights further afield , can’t see it all at once and we’ve found you try to cram everything in at once and sometimes it’s nice just to chill . Tell you what it’s bloody work that gets in the way 😡we should be able to retire at 50 and spend more time seeing lovely places whilst we can still move 🤣Happy travels xx

What breed are you dogs please ? We had a husky for 13 years travelling about it was a bit hard work with the size of her ,she passed away 3 years ago we did say we will not get another because it hurt so much ,what I will say she seen alot and walked alot had a great life ,,my wife loves your 2 dogs and am thinking of surprising her with a new best friend, watched you 2 for a while now keep it up Thank You ❤

Loved this! Fidden Farm and Calgary. Shame about the weather, if you walked to the right of the the beach at calgary there is an old pier where they sent the peasants to Canada. Up the hill to the right is an abandoned village where the people lived before they were deported. Calgary in Canada is named after Calgary in Scotland. FACT.
Tip, trust your readings, we have 2 gas bottles and I was always anxious about running out and using the heating. We haven't used hook up in a while. If you watch TV that eats away into your solar panel electric reserves.

great vlog we love Mull one of our favourite places to visit, have you considered having a Diesel heater fitted. I have seen many motorhomers having them fitted especially as LPG is getting harder to find in the UK. At least that way if you are off grid your fuel Tank is providing the heater with the fuel needed rather than LPG which obviously runs the Fridge Freezer and Hob.

We loved Mull, preferred it to Skye which was too busy to enjoy. Will definitely head for the site you stayed at if we visit again, looked beautiful.

Great Vlog from t'team :-) Top tip for you, those gas gauges are very inaccurate. We had one on the last van, when it indicated empty, it was about 50% full. The tank probably holds about 18 litres (it's 25l but needs room for lpg to boil off). It'll last ages. 😊

@Stchristopherofatlantis you'll get used to it. Let it go to showing empty then refill (do not be tempted to overfill, very bad 🙈) & see how much it's taken then you'll feel more confident 🙂

Not sure what gas system you have ( guessing it's a refillable underslung tank 20or25 litres?) but it should last you ages. We have a twin 11kg gaslow refillable system which ladts for ever or so it seems. It's a real shame the weather turned bleak but you just have to make the best of it. Mull seems really nice and well worth a visit.

Mull was incredibly beautiful and if you ever go we do recommend Fidden Farm. Weather has been off and on but mainly off 🤣🤣🤣🤣🌦️🌦️

We can probably beat you with the 'not a relaxing drive' comment. We stayed at Ulva ferry port and decided to follow the coast round to Tobermory. We actually got stuck on a 90 degree uphill bend and ended up being towed up the hill by a vauxhall vivaro driven by an absolute 🦸♂️

@@Stchristopherofatlantis i have friends in lochdon who we have visited for years , infact spent many an auld years nicht on mull great times and nice to come back for a party 😎😎 euskin i think we will try looks good and a spot of brown trout fishing Loch Frisa and mishnish lochs and just have a tootle around really ulva want to tick another island of the list ... then august is harris and lewis

You need a diesel heater we have a Jayco conquest on a Fiat Ducato chassis same as your and the diesel heater is tapped into the Fiat fuel tank works for us, cheers from Australia

Thats definitely the main issuee with your style of camper compared to say a modern van conversion.
Youd think but now and for years motorhome makers would of caught up with technology, but seems mostly still havent.
