The trail to and from Ashbourne has a few step bits where bridges have been removed, and the hill back from the trail is very step.

Great video of our wee town. I reckon the heckler was a tourist because the locals are really friendly 😂. All the bunting and flyers you saw were for the Ashbourne Arts Festival which has been going for over two decades and happens every year at the end of June and into July. It has fantastic art exhibitions, street performers, comedians, musicians and well known speakers. By the way, there is a Greggs but it's at the top end of town. Glad you enjoyed your time here 😊

You got to love Ashbourne, what with the tissington trail oh and you missed out Smiths tavern always a good selection of whiskies we manage to get there once a year, but it’s crazy when the kids breakup.

Hmmm yes!! Sometimes it won’t go all the way down and just stops and we faff with it until eventually it does…. Is that what you mean?

That's very similar to our fault. It intermittently does go down, so we have to manually wind it down. Yet it always stows back up in the morning. The manual wind down tends to kill the moment at the end of the day . Lol 😂 😆 🤣. I think it's a common problem, which the dealer can't fix.

Lovely site. Private pitches with bar. Walk to Ashbourne is about 25 mins and through fields and tunnels. Best dog field we have ever seen if you have a dog. We enjoyed it. Tell them we sent you 👍

Enjoyed the tour of Ashbourne, a proper town centre with loads of charm & originality, something for everybody. Approximately how long did it take you to walk it from the campsite? Tim, Jane & Archie.

It’s about 25 mins into the centre, a lovely walk through fields and a fabulous tunnel. Walking back is uphill but can be done leisurely.

The gimbal is an Insta360 Flow. Buy one, it’s guaranteed to ruin a good day out as it swings your iPhone about like trainers in a washing machine.
No can do on the Apple Sour front. We ran into our mate at a local gurning competition and he was struggling 🥴

Sure can but I wanted the shop to see if my bike could have tubeless tyres fitted because they are better for punctures. Made sense to take it in rather than messing about going forwards and backwards to the shop 😊

😂 not quite what it seems. I went to the new bike shop in town to buy some new inner tubes and they offered to set the bike up for me because I’d bought it online. I’m new to E bikes so took them up on the offer. I’ve changed loads of bike tyres in the past, I used to cycle 200 miles every week on a road bike. Claire won’t let me wear Lycra anymore because she says I look like a circus Killer Whale.
