Hi Mouse Toes! I just bought some cube steak because I was craving steak and gravy. It’s delicious and yes on the pepper. Looks delicious and fork tender. Have a very blessed weekend!
That looked delicious. We always had ours on top of a pile of mashed potatoes. Six little pieces here will set you back 12 to 14 dollars/ It's ridiculous. Haven't had it in ages cause I'm too tight to pay that.
I was scrolling thru the comments and had to laugh at the 100 year old thing. They have some silly trolls on here don't they? I doubt they could pour water out of a boot with the instructions on the heel. I have never, in all my 63 years of living. thought to put cubed steak in the oven. I don't know why. Its my favorite steak. Well other than the ones I would have to take a loan out at the bank to get so those definitely will not be coming home with me from the grocery store any time soon. However, I will have to try this when I find cube steak on sale because yours really looks phenomenal. I'm getting all kinds of great recipes from you friend. Thanks.
Hi Mouse Toes. Love your little mouse chef. The chicken fried steak looks delicious. Can you make that in one of the casserole crockpots? I just got one going to do a spatchcock chicken tomorrow.
SERIOUSLY?!?! Right after I made my chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and gravy??? LOL. I would have tried your recipe if I had just waited a bit longer.. Great video!
I do not know. Cube Steak is cheap and they run it thru a tenderizer (hence the little indented squares all over it) to even market it. I would not want to use a quality steak for this and then bake it for 2 hours.
from google: A cube steak is usually from the top or bottom round of a cut of meat and has been tenderized by a machine that punctures the surface to break down the tough fibers. The result is a cut with a cube pattern imprinted on the steak, giving the appearance of a ground meat.
I had an army of trolls who said I was too old to be ON UA-cam and also do fishing videos becuz I was " 100 years old". So I roll with the 100 years old.
Looks fabulous! Nice to see you again.
You are a hoot, Mouse! 😁 Thank you for another delicious recipe!

I bet yours was delicious though okierogue7060!
I make mine pretty much the same but I don’t beat my meat 😂 and it still comes out fork tender. 😊
I am a meat beater it seems.
@@MouseToes 😂🤣😂🤣
That’s some meat mallet! Good for tenderizing steak and taking care of Leon Trotsky should he turn up unexpectedly.
That meat mallet means business for sure!
Do you have a video of creamed spinach?
I do not kathygoskey6701 and it is one of Verns favorite things to eat. It is just not my jam.
@@MouseToes that was the only way my kids growing up would eat spinach. Lol
What cut of beef could be used and tenderized to be cube steaks?

It's Round steak, but you have to tenderizer it
@@MouseToes I'll have to ask my local store meat market what they use as cube steaks. I never thought about it before.
What kind of beef?

100? Do mice age? I’m pretty sure we’re close in age and I ain’t no where near 100.

Delete the trolls, you ain’t 100.❤️
