- Today we're Mountain Creek Bike Park in Vernon New Jersey. I was following Ryan Burney, a long time friend and Engineer for GT/Cannondale. I was here racing the US Open of Mountain Biking, GT Bicycles helped get me back on a big bike which is mine to keep. I'll be doing a bike check when I have the bike fully built up with my own components.
Yes, I didn't post a video last Friday. Due to the lighting, the quality of the video just flat out sucked even before I uploaded it to UA-cam and it just wasn't worth watching IMO. Skills With Phil Hey Phil, could yoh may test a Bionicon Bike? They have ajustable suspension, you can low the Front a rise the back while driving for uphill, it seems to be pretty cool.

Missed my DH bike but most bike parks around here are actually more fun on a trail bike oddly enough.

Hi Phil, just watched this in HD and it absolutely blows me away watching you shred that. It would be awesome to see a video like this in full panoramic 3D/4D. I'd pay to go see it. I ride a bike, but you absolutely float like a dragon. Kudos my friend, and safe journeys on the rail, I'm lowly on the trail compared to that. Hope meet you on the trails someday.

There are some good apps that track stats I assume you would enjoy, Cyclemeter, or MapMyRide are both very good. My Tracks is a bit more basic. I know all these are compatible with Android at least.
You guys have a ridiculous amount of talent. nice work and way to do clean runs.
Hey Phil, you should do a video where you get a fan/beginner rider come to a bike park with you and you both do every trail from easiest to hardest. If you you think that's a good idea tell me. Thanks.

Update: ended up breaking my hand on one of the wallrides lol. Finally healed up (month and a half later) and going back this weekend. Can't wait (again!)

HEY I live near here! You should ride the Wissahickon if your nearby. Pretty fun trails... But a lot of rocky tech and punchy climbs.

The one time I went here for a weekend about 10 years ago, there was a random bear wondering around the trails. And my friend's wife face planted off the porch drop. It was a crazy trip.

Hey Phil, how would Mountain Creek be for an old guy with a 27.5 PLUS bike Hardtail? Much riding experience here in NJ....but not a downhill bomber. More Single Track, and traditional trails

Plus the covenant drop you hit so very easily is one of their biggest drops there. You nailed it like it was just a bump.

That was my first attempt at it. I saw that gap earlier but sort of forgot where it was so it was a last minute decision and I had to soak up the bike not to case it!!

Hey Phil, I have a question 4 U. I know your not the best at wheelies but as of now you're much better than me. I have a lot of trouble staying upright because I keep going off to the left or right. It happens every time and I can't hold a wheelie for very long because of that. Great Video by the way.

Any one else who rides Creek notice the 2 huge gaps?? One on dombo the (bermy trail at 2:31) and one on salvation! The salvation gap is huge! Used a left berm as a lip and then skipped a right berm and landed back into the left! So sick Phil!
