Malys is basically the 40k version of him, or rather, started as that. In actuallity she battled an entity found deep in the webway and defeated it, taking it's sword and a crystal heart. She replaced her own heart with the crystal, and became DIRECTLY tied to Cegorach, the laughing god. So who she's talking to in private all the time, is Cegorach himself. This is found in the Harlequen codex in 7th ed.
my favorite story for the Homunculi that may be non-canon now, I heard from Baldemort, Basically the coven of the dark creed (i think) were attacking a world that was in constant terror, and were just having a ball but eventually the Raven Guard came and were able to "kill" the main Homunculi, which really pissed him off so he went and ambushed the marines and during the battle he tasted some of the Raven Guard gene-seed and immediately tasted an impurity in it, he then switched tactics to kidnap some of the marines rather than kill, which he was able to get a fair amount of. eventually the Raven guard counter attacked to get their brethren back and once they found them, nothing seemed wrong so they just looked over them and made sure they were still battle worthy then left, of course over time the gene-seed was passed down from these marines to the next batch of recruits and after several hundred years or so, the plan of the Haemonculi was truly shown, when an entire batch of Raven Guard aspirants turned into horrible mutated beasts

Technically there are two ways. You either have an objective the dark eldar don’t understand it is extremely short term, or you are let in by someone else. Sometimes you can surprise the dark eldar if you end up in Commorragh on accident which pisses them off greatly because they didn’t see it coming.

The worst part about the Drukhari is that they don't actually need to torture to survive. They could just put on a spirit stone to stave off the predations of She Who Thirsts. Their entire reasoning seems to be: "Using a spirit stone would make me a psyker, and being psychic is cringe, therefore it is better to feed off of suffering, which is based."

Goto), that may have been written somewhere. What I can tell you is that Spirit Stones are mostly psychic soul containers, almost like a lich's phylactery in a way, and by themselves don't really make judgements of value. The souls kept inside them though definitely make judgements and the average Craftworlder spirit absolutely despises the Drukhari and is repulsed by their spirits. Not only that, but an example of Drukhari touching spirit stones is that an Incubi rite of passage, the final stage before becoming a full member of their shrine, is to kill an Aspect Warrior in single combat, capture their spirit stone with their soul inside, breaking it and then fashioning it into a piece of equipment called the Tormentor that they use, I believe, in their helmet. Also Drazhar has a bunch of shattered Aspect Warrior Spirit Stones on his model, to indicate just how many he has killed over the millenia.
If I'm not wrong dark eldar literally can not use spirit stones, as they turn hollow and black when attempting to bond their aoul with it, so they actually need the torment to not get eaten by slaanesh.
I wonder what DK is gonna think when he realises that while humans move in slow motion compared to regular Eldar, Dark Eldar are even faster to compensate for the loss of their psychic capabilities. Known to dodge lasgun fire and kick thrown grenades back at attackers.

9:35 I mean, major cities in the US shouldn't be that hard. Grids are not all that hard to figure out. European or Asian cities on the other hand. Most don't make any sense or have any pattern (as they naturally grew trough centuries). 2 of my favorite things about drukhari are Duke Slyscus, who was so bored being an accoutant or minor city official that he stole a ship and formed his own pirate group. My other is that Aun'shi the T'au ethereal is currently in a wych cult slave pit and is so popular that they just rake in cash.

The worst part about the Drukhari is that they don't actually need to torture to survive. They could just put on a spirit stone to stave off the predations of She Who Thirsts. Their entire reasoning seems to be: "Using a spirit stone would make me a psyker, and being psychic is cringe, therefore it is better to feed off of suffering, which is based."
Isn't it the case where Drukhari souls are so corrupted and toxic that if they so much as touch a spirit stone it crumbles into dust?
@@minimareanie1044 I don't know with 100% certainty if that is true or not, and given that the lore frequently gets passed around to different authors, a few with very "interesting" takes on the setting (looking at you, C.S. Goto), that may have been written somewhere.
What I can tell you is that Spirit Stones are mostly psychic soul containers, almost like a lich's phylactery in a way, and by themselves don't really make judgements of value. The souls kept inside them though definitely make judgements and the average Craftworlder spirit absolutely despises the Drukhari and is repulsed by their spirits.
Not only that, but an example of Drukhari touching spirit stones is that an Incubi rite of passage, the final stage before becoming a full member of their shrine, is to kill an Aspect Warrior in single combat, capture their spirit stone with their soul inside, breaking it and then fashioning it into a piece of equipment called the Tormentor that they use, I believe, in their helmet. Also Drazhar has a bunch of shattered Aspect Warrior Spirit Stones on his model, to indicate just how many he has killed over the millenia.
If I'm not wrong dark eldar literally can not use spirit stones, as they turn hollow and black when attempting to bond their aoul with it, so they actually need the torment to not get eaten by slaanesh.

I wonder what DK is gonna think when he realises that while humans move in slow motion compared to regular Eldar, Dark Eldar are even faster to compensate for the loss of their psychic capabilities. Known to dodge lasgun fire and kick thrown grenades back at attackers.
Two small points: ennui (on-wee) is a real life thing that from my layperson perspective is like super-depression. Also. I'm fairly certain several if not most of the Homunculi are hundreds of thousands or millions of years old (I could be wrong)

@30:00 on the death by ennui thing, drukhari have to cause suffering and pain to live, to keep slaanesh off of them, if they live a life of boredom its more then just pain for the drukhari in question, its LITERALLY a death sentance because they arent staving off slaanesh, she/he WILL get them

9:35 I mean, major cities in the US shouldn't be that hard. Grids are not all that hard to figure out. European or Asian cities on the other hand. Most don't make any sense or have any pattern (as they naturally grew trough centuries).

The specific example of Boston does work however. It's one of the oldest cities in the U.S. and wasn't built on a grid base, it grew naturally and has a very haphazard set up.
