Because early game is so slow and I did not blow thru the quests. I started out building 2 excavation sheds and 2 Wood cutters. Having a lot of wood and planks and rocks helped increase buildings and allowed me to get level 2 building by year 2. I also waited to build animal pens until I had all of them available. I put the 4 biggest at the 4 corners, and spread the rest out along the short sides. Then I built the fence to house them all.

@20:00 It's not just about stats. If you talk to them, they can tell you about their passion. And if you give them their passion job, they will be happier. Although they have the same stats in several different things. 👍

I don't know why you didn't take knowledge, the more knowledge you take in any of the skills,t he faster you get experience points for other skills. The one in which you gave to knight rider and other was wasteful at this point in time.
