Quick tip in my game the island in between Denica and gostovia at the V in the lake held a pile of rocks and under them was $3000.
That pile of rocks use to only be 300 coins during testing. Thanks for the tip.

Haha, you had the wicent initiation, you're one of us now! My first encounter with them after 1.0 release was on a hill, I got catapulted downward and landed in the lake, thought I was clear until I saw a black shape charging towards me in the water...

I just got chased by a wisent for getting too close. I absolutely panicked and ended up bashing him over the head with an axe. It actually worked way better than a spear did in these situations, so I'm probably just gonna use that for close combat in the future 😂

lol 2 things spear are distant weapons , the club is a melee weapon or knifes axe or other .. rabbits are the way to go .. healing from 10 to 2 was a shock ... great video thank you ....
I am not used to melee being any good in this game so it will take a little getting used to. Not sure it would have helped me much with the Wisent though. LOL Thanks

Lol, that death to the Wicent was classic! My first thought was, “how fast can you run Naz? “ Can you spear fish at your level?
I thought I had my big boy pants on with that Wisent. I clearly did not. LOL. I have never tried to fish early, but I would imagine as long as you have the fishing spear you can use it to fish.
Wow. The wisent are a different proposition this season!
Not sure the Wisent changed much, the broadleaf plantain only heals for +2 instead of the +10 it use to. The Wooden spear only does +15 damage and it only works if I can throw it right LOL. Thanks for watching
Keep a look out for campsites and many more crashed wagons! Lots more loot to make money on and/or use for convenience. I made almost 4K coin just on loot alone lol

Heaps more random loot! Found a couple of chests as well, usually about 300 coin in them.
I've seen lots of campsites, but no bandits. Have you encountered them yet? Wonder if there is a waiting period before they populate?
@@Leslie12.66 yes there is a waiting period but not sure what starts them. I have come across them twice. Both times in the wilderness, once at a campsite.

I saw the video today, nice info. When you said u wanted to kill the wisent i knew you were going to die.. wisent.. are the hardest animals to kill in the game.. even a bear or wolf are not so hard to kill. I love ur vids keep up the good and usefull work!

I can't play without the unlimited weight option now. I don't like making some items obsolete (packs), but you end up wasting way too much time on inventory management and not playing the rest of the game if you play w/ the default weight settings. Also, I loved the little music clip while you were building the first house, hehe.

I do the same. Leave all the settings normal except I turn on unlimited carry weight. I'm not running from town to town and dealing with managing carry weight. The game is slow enough lol not making multiple trips
Ok.. I'm a bit late.. but wouldn't it be even easier to cut down trees and make spears to sell? Those sell for 30 coins and you can make 4 per tree you cut down?
That's what is great about this game, you can craft most anything you want and sell it. However, Wooden Spears (with Barter Skill at 3/3) only sell for 16, not 30. Also, the spears from stone to iron require linen thread which can severely cut into your profits (if you are needing to buy it). I actually made a video showing how to make 2000 Coins your first day (before Fast Crafting was an option in the game) and for that video I did test wooden spears and it ended up not even being close to the stone knives. Mainly because the spear weigh much more than the knife. So, you start loosing time (money) because it take more trips to the vendor to sell them. Can't believe you tried killing a "V" Wisen with a spear. Spears were nerfed.
At the time I did not know spears had been nerfed and during the testing wooden spears were a viable weapon against more than just the rabbit. Thanks for watching.
Please take your time reading the story quest dialog. In the past you knew what it was going to say but that's no longer true. Also the Iordan stories are pretty interesting.

When you read a name you have no idea how to pronounce in a book it goes two ways:
"B@&$%!/>,@/+s is the bartender in a small farming village." Your brain forever distills them down to the first and last letter of the name and God help us all if another character has a similar name.
"Beth Smith is the bartender in a small farming village." You just rewrite the name to be super generic and that's their name now. You have no hope of participating in fan discussions of that book because your nickname for them is known only to you and if you heard the real name you wouldn't have the faintest clue who that is. Your best friend decided to read the book and has no clue who Beth Smith is, partially because her name isn't Beth and she has nothing to do with any smith.
It would be better go for spears right away. Idk if they nerfed them over time(havent played it long time), but they are easy to make and hit hard. Bows are good for small animals, but for big, spears are way to go. Specially if you can aim for head.
Bows are now superior to spears, wooden spears do 15 dmg and a basic bow and stone arrow do 55 dmg The metal spears aren't too bad. :)
@@HecticNasari I think that 30 is melee damage of bow, not together, so its 25 for stone arrow. But yes looks like spears got nerfed and do less damage than arrow now, which is nonsense.
I remember hunting bear in hills south. I made myself like 10 spears, sneaking around to get above him all scared and then killed him with just two. Spears used to be superrior. They could take different approach imo. Either damage falloff with distance or worse accuracy at longer distances or bit of both.
You've been playing Valheim to much if you keep going for the Tab key. Per the update notes some buildings will have larger foundations so you can build on more uneven ground. You build like I do like I do, from the inside. So much easier to get to most everything. Though I save the last bit for the door so I'm not in the way of any interior structures.
My first hunt with deer was pathetic though I did luck out when two got stuck on each other next to one that bleed out. I was able to kill them with the knife and got 48 meat out of it while only needed five for the Feed quest.

@@HecticNasari - Just got through my first winter. You may want to rethink the sewing hut as you will need fur boots. I found a abandoned Bandit(?) camp near my homestead in my year one summer or autumn though in winter it was gone. It was located midway between Gostovia and Denica about 100-150m from the river shoreline. Got a fur hood and an iron axe.
“…Got the T-shirt…” What a T-shirt. “ I am dead, But I did get an achievement for it :-)” Sounds eerily like real life. Die and get recognised. Hm.. Sorry, that sounded a bit dark, perhaps ;-).

quick question so u can set up stuff far away from your base town? Im not understanding the hole mine thing. My camps at the lake so could i build a mine outside the cave below gostovia?
You can build a mine in any of the 5 caves around the map once you have the mine available to you. This will unlock iron nodes. Until then you can personally mine the caves for copper, tin, salt.

yes, as you upgrade your buildings the villager mood will increase as well.
another question I have is....are the moose dangerous?
I have not run into a moose yet, but from what I am hearing from others is the Male moose is harder to kill than a female. I would imagine they are aggressive in game.
No, not currently. They run like deer tho, so be prepared to chase them. :)

this game is time consuming but it's kinda relax to play. also can somebody tell me should i just use bow instead of wooden spear? it damage is so low ( hunting bow )
If you want to carry spears, I would only use them on rabbits (one-hit kill). Use bow on most everything else. Then when in close range use a melee weapon with the highest damage rating. When the animal is low on health they will run away, switch back to the bow.

Is it just me or is it alot harder to kill anything other then bunny's 🤔
It feels like the animal movement is buggy almost. They shoot off WAY too quickly once taking damage, and zoom over the landscape.

As for me, I’m well aware I don’t read well and the reason for that is truly “None of your business”. I’ve also never claimed to be an avid reader, so no one should ever expect such unless they know my background. That being said, I don’t plan on not reading the dialogue even if I butcher it.
The good thing about a free platform like this one is, there are plenty of other content creators to watch and criticize. I do hope you find enjoyment in your future.
