Hi Julian, I've followed this terrific tutorial again. It looks great, indeed .Thanks for it. I'm using Octane as a render engine, so I had to do some different extra actions. First some different materials and setting, no problems. Second, I had to cache the pyro to create a VDB for the 2000 frames and that was a huge amount of vdb’s 😂 30 Gb. After that add the VDB for octane and run the render.
There is a different way, I found out. In C4D 203 as well in C4D 2024 there is a tag 'Extensions/C4doctane Tags/Octane ObjectTag' that does the work. No Caching, no VDB's
nice tutorial. everything working. only with texturing, I've issue with de coloring of the text spline cut. I not become white color from the cutting, so I not seen the white cutting on the cube when rendering in Redshift
@@willy4740 I was thinking you weren't able to see the cut, but if you are, then lighting isn't a problem. With regard to the colour of the cut, it should be the same as the material applied to the cube. I don't think you can actually give the cut its own colour, though I can't be certain.
@@ExpressoMechanicTVI put a blue color on the cube and a white color on the cut. now I see the color from the cut, otherwise nothing. I also not see the color of the cube in your tutorial
Thanks bro, great Chanel on UA-cam ❤❤
Thanks for watching!

It could be an issue with your lighting, Willy.
@@ExpressoMechanicTV what you say now, which lighting?
the laser is nice red, with the bottom white, but laser cut has no color
