Living in Perth myself, I would disagree with the restaurant comment. I find there are a lot of good places to eat, food is a big culture here, but maybe not directly in the CBD. However, you are right that its not a night-life city, for going out and dancing etc But there are restaurants but maybe they are not as obvious to people who do not know the city, and need more of a searching beforehand to find them which could be challenging for tourists or new people into the city.
Hi @@ZinSammZan! You're totally right! After a year of living in Perth, I can say there are restaurant everywhere that are truly amazing in terms of serving size and quality. But they're not evident to tourists and spread out all over Perth. Locals have the best recommendations!
How about the temperature for mid August? Do we need to put jacket on? Im planning to go there this August. Is it worth it for me to stay like 3 - 4 days? Thanks much!
August is the middle of winter. Temperatures are usually 13-15 during the day and can reach 5 degrees at night. Lots of rain and wind, so yes - bring a jacket. Regardless of the time of the year, WA is totally worth it :)
Love all the dogs socialising.
Moving to Perth with my family at the end of the the year! Thank you for all information about Perth 🙏
All the best with the move!!
