Anytime I'm in Jamaica I need to hit a Juici Pattie for my favourite cheese patty as soon as I touch di road..simply to die for. So flaky, tasty and delicious. The cheese patty is more than just cheese. I usually call it a beef and cheese patty. I know it's sacrilege but I don't mess with coco bread with my patty because the patty stands alone. It doesn't need anything else. I love how flaky they are. The best pastry in the world. No lie.

That's the only time and way I eat beef. The best beef patty, I find, in Toronto, is Tinnels which can be found in groceries too. (No Frills and Freshco) among others. One more thing, don't fold the patty. Otherwise, eat up and enjoy.🥟 so so good.😋
Many years ago there was only one patty place in Kingston called Bruce's in Cross roads..my friends and I use to go to buy coco bread and patties with pineapple soda for lunch.

Full House and cheese patty is my fav at Mother's. My fav patties are a tie between Juici and Tastee and that is cheese patty. Devon House has the best curry goat patty. Juici patty burn me up already, twice! To how they serve it well hot! But that is how we love it!😢

Get To A Dollar Tree Store Here in Broward County. $1.25/Each I do not Normally Eat Fast Food or A Lot of Deep Fried Foods, But These Are Good Quality and Flaky Spicy, Hot, Medium Try Them. You Can Freeze Them. I Place it In An Air-Fryer when it's Frozen or If I Need To Reheat it❤
Even without tasting it for me it has to be the Devon house curry goat patty. I didn't know Devon House had a bakery and have been there a few times myself when on holiday. I once drove from St. Elizabeth to Devon house just for Devonstout ice-cream ill definitely be trying the curry goat patty on my next visit though don't know when that will be. Big up Jamaican fast food a sorrel beer wash all thst patty down well.
Jamaican pattys originally came from english Cornish pasties they mixed that with there spices and came up with there patties which i love as much as English pasties 🤤

And never tried the Devon House curry goat or ackee and saltfish as I am afraid if either has bones.
When you go to Tastee, you buy a Patty (default is beef unless you ask for different) Cocoa Bread and a Pepsi. That is the meal that several thousand high school kids will have daily.
BIT OF ADVICE!!!: If youre in Kingston TASTEE'S is the best (apart from Devon House as its most expensive, and more Gourmet). If youre outside of Kingston (In the Countryside) JUICI is the best!

I had goat and beef patties at Devon House in 2017. Will be back there in 2025 God willing.
Devon House is so good, and their pastries were great. Too bad they wouldn't let us see how they did things in the kitchen, but still really good.
