I understand what you mean about planner decision fatigue. It's actually been harder for me to choose which planners and journals that I want in my lineup for 2025 because there are almost too many options to choose from. Some of the notebooks and planners that worked from last year, I'm keeping and using for 2025.
This was such a helpful video. Your approach really resonated with me. I am going to do a map and I think that will helped. Grateful to have found your channel.
Nicely done! Love the clear layout of categories and especially the experiment category - gives permission to play and try with no commitment. I realize I have a few items I’ll call experiments. Thank you!
Thank you for sharing your line up. I love how cohesive and simple it is. May I ask where did you get your cover that you’re using on your work planner?
@@teresamitchell5326 yes! That is from the hobonichi 2025 collection called the POTR stroll in A5 and it’s still available on Jet Pens I believe. I have a separate review of just that cover. It’s really amazing, I highly recommended it.
I agonized for DAYS (weeks…?) about which Common Planner and notebook sizes I wanted vs needed vs already had and just needed to be at peace with. Money is TIGHT so I ended up repurposing some gently used books I’d gotten for a different reason that didn’t pan out and still ended up ordering an entirely new set of books to expand my system. Planner fatigue is such a real thing!
No matter one's situation I think we can agree that these planner prices are not drops in the bucket. So maybe fatigue is a gift - a motivator to be frugal. Thanks so much for sharing! Wishing you more planner peace in the new year!
You hit the nail on the head with both planner peace and planner decision fatigue! Because I didn’t hop in 2024, I feel like I was hyper enthusiastic to try something/anything new in 2025 and along the way, I got fatigued and overwhelmed lol. But I’m fairly set for next year and still optimistic about it all lol. Great video and walk through!
Yes that’s it, planner decision fatigue! I’ve been researching for a planner to use for work and I can’t decide. I’m just tired from looking at my final choices that I had to take a break. Currently I’m using my hobonichi cousin for both journal, memory keeping and work tasks. I want to keep work separate from my personal entries but at this rate it may remain unchanged. 😅
Thank you for sharing your process. I have size fatigue. Some planner sizes, one in particular, no longer work for me. Even though I want to use my stash, that may not be happening for 2025.
I hear ya! And now B5 got added to the mix! It’s a tough decision to make when you have so many options but I’m glad you’re choosing what works for you.

@@PlanYourOneLife thanks for your comment! It’s a wonderful problem to have but not less difficult.
My problem is I want to use all the planners.
I'm tired for you! It's so much fun though.
Same!

@@LaurieChinSayres-u2e thanks so much for the kind words! I’m so glad it was helpful. I appreciate the support.
I surprised myself by using an outdated picked daily. It’s been working WONDERS.
I love that peace you've been able to find!

These are real planner girl symptoms!
Thank you for this video. Truly appreciate it. Speaks to what I am going through. Your video is extremely helpful
Oh! I am so so glad to hear that! I was hoping it would resonate with people.
If you have lots of stationery, the planner map is a great idea.
Thanks so much!
