- AGH it’s finally done! 😫 I wanted to post this on valentine’s day, but the editing took me a whole day lol so there’s that 🤣
So I wanted to clarify a few things about the story:
1. At 0:58, Johanna 👩🏼 found out that Jolene 👩🏻🦰 loves permed hair, so she curled hers every night after finding that out lol
2. At 1:10, you can see Johanna’s grades drop to a B+. It’s because her friends, who were part of a remedial class for students failing math, said that Jolene takes that class with them. Johanna tried failing math to take that class too, but failed miserably XD
3. Johanna and Owen know each other cuz they’re both at the student council. Owen’s there at 0:15 (lol why am I stating the easter eggs XD)
4. aNOTHER easter egg here is that when the girls were hanging out at Johanna’s, that was the time when Jolene was supposed to go to the movies with Oliver (reference to the part 1 animatic)
P.S. i changed Julia’s name to Jolene for the plot LOL

I personally never really understood why people's grades drop when they discover love and start having fun, because to me love and fun makes me happy and being happy gives me motivation to do stuff. My first crush led me to being motivated and doing better in school and i took up more hobbies when i liked them. To the point where i became an honor roll student and an athlete.

And based on experience, being asked NEVER ruins the mood. It an additional attraction to the person you're about to be intimate with because they asked for your consent first.
There are people who really really gets into the mood but they shy away because they're scared (either from religious purposes, own thoughts, etc.) or they're just not ready yet. And being forced to do something that you're not ready for gives you a guilt feeling rather than a pleasurable and intimate feeling.
We're not mind readers so it's better not to assume what the other person wants or needs. Asking the person is just a 3 sec. step to do that will save you and them from a LOT of things. So, why risk it just because you think it's romantic when you can just be a considerate and respectful person?

Notice how the second "straight hair" it showed her hair being a bit curled compared to the beginning showed that she's changed from how she usually is without her knowing. She saw the other girl's hair being curly and she liked it. The curly hair being part of the girl that she crushes on became something that she also like, usually when we like something or someone, we gradually change to become similar. Such small detail but it's so cute
