Great interview, thank you ... and so interesting how here she is like an excited sweet little girl about everything ... where on stage she totally owns, commands as a stunning multi faceted woman artist.
I love Susan. Her guitar playing is getting better and better. Her playing style reminds me of Jimmie Vaughn's. Her live version of BB. King's, "How Blue Can You Get", is phenomenally good.
Punk\grunge in the 90s. It was brought up that there was a renewed interest in the blues in the 90s, i guess i wasn't aware of it at the time. Looking back it was showing up even with Kurt Cobain with his performance on MTV Unplugged of Leadbelly's "In the Pines". I bet Susan was totally aware of his performance. So Susan, Go For It!! I for one, would love to hear a punk ock\grunge recording from you! You'd do just fine because you always deliver quality, and i know you can deliver the goods you love. A recording like that would shock a lot of people, but i think you should free your inner punk! You owe it to yourself and i know we would love the end result. Calling Dave Grohl.... i think he would would be proud and flattered should you seek his advice. Love ya Susan! And Derek too. Since i worked for the ABB, you feel like family to me! ❤️❤️
Thank you for watching! If you liked it, PLEASE SUBSCRIBE! I’m posting three new interviews every week!

Susan is an American treasure
Pure class....and salt of the earth.
Great interview. I love that she and Derek are both so humble and sincere.

4:00 is literally my experience of falling in love with the blues. It started with TTB and B.B King
The first song I heard was ‘Angel from Montgomery’ in 2001 on a jukebox in a bar and I asked: ‘ WHO IS THIS?’
