Have seen TT about a half a dozen times over the past 10 years. Such a wonderful band, so authentic and surprising to see live. Derek is an amazing guitar player and Susan slays me with her voice. She is a wonderful guitar player in her own right. The band just brings it every time. Love the Allman Brothers legacy, such a feel for the music I love. I hope the continue to tour and love what they do. Thank you to Derek, Susan and the band. PS - thank you for introducing me to Jack Pearson!
Great , really amazing . I'm always looking for dates , tours , musicians ,interviews ... all kind of Dylan choices , and when I see that a 12 years old boy was playing with Dylan on stage , I said WOW , how was that ?? And not one time , two times . But all is clear when u read his family name , in despite not every mothers son could do it that way . And Susan Tedeschi is so wonderful to see her singin' and playin' on stage , it's her natural element ... no poses around . Dylan could be grateful that the greatest musicians all time want to play with him , such an honour ... of course it is .
It's great to hear Derek and Susan talk about the slightly different directions their fathers took to stardom and how that had a positive impact on them as musicians and performers 😊 and pretty much carrying on the tradition of Trucks, Tedesche style blue eyed blues performers 😊😅😮😂❤😂😊❤😊❤
I love how casually Derek just says the first time he played with Dylan he was 11 or 12 as if that isn't just the wildest shit ever.
I remember him tearing it up at Skipper’s Smokehouse when he was about 10 years old.
How can you not love these people?
Outstanding session! Thanks - Vernon, Singapore
My Dad introduced me to Bob Dylan. Wow ! I relate to you all! Thanks for sharing.
They always do the best interviews
Wise words from the heirs of a river of artists and writers who bring music to a beautiful higher level 🌛🌞🌜
T.T.B. Best band in the land🍄
Such a good interview. I watched this a few years ago, and just watching again ... great stuff.

People have no idea how many nearly unknown Dylan songs others have covered and made popular.
...unknown by whom??
@@harveythompson1756 Don't pretend not to know what I mean.
I can assure you I am not pretending to do anything@@spaceghost8995
Dylan and Van are the masters of rearrangement
What were the other songs they played together?
"I didn't think he would remember me, an eleven year old virtuoso who still plays the same guitar"
