Good time / nice time in the day .. Lisa. As well I am excited about your video, how you are making soap))) How everything was done, filmed and shown.. as well instruction))) Thank you very much for this new video, best regards from Thorsten from Minsk/Belarus
Oh I am quite partial to pointy layers and drop swirls, Lisa, and to using clays! So I find these soaps beautiful and very interesting. I do love your avocados, but far too much work for beginner me😉 Thank you so much for the inspiration for my next soap, and for being such a great teacher! I would love to attend a soap class taught by you. 🙏🏼❤️
Oh my gosh. These are so gorgeous. You are amazing. I love your videos and you are so informative and positive. Thank you so much for all that you do. X from Australia.
Those little avocados are adorable! I love them both but the avocado one is my favourite I think it is amazing how you manage to work with all the strict guidelines you guys have.
Hey Lisa! Another wonderful and awesome video! Love the 🥑 on top! Normally I do not like videos with music but the music you have chosen is pleasant and relaxing to listen to while watching you work. I don’t know if you can chose any music so I would like to make a suggestion. You don’t have to use it but my suggestion is Christina Perri. One of her songs is called A Thousand Years. It was the only one that I knew of until I looked her up and listen to some of her music and I think you just might like it also. Looking forward to your next video! Thanks for making them!!!
Absolutely beautiful beautiful soaps.. love the little avocados on top. Simply wonderful.. thank you for the recipe too.. . I tried. salt bars with your recipe , which i tweaked a bit and the outcome was a delightful dropswirl which i never thought possible with a salt coconut milk bar..thank you thank you thank you ❤️❤️❤️🌹🌹🌹
These two soap were beautifully made i love the drop layered method because it gave the impression of something being dropped in water with a splash from the inside but the outside looks just like your regular layered soap and the Avocado on the top of the other one along with the Colors blended perfect the match was perfect 👌 well done and thanks for sharing as always
Hi Lisa....I bought this assessment couple weeks ago and have been making them since last week. Love the recipe....never soaped with some of these fruits.... was amazed when the mixed berries turned the batter really really green initially 😱....but all up to now have turned out as lovely soaps.... last is the 2 rhubarb and the unscented mango tomorrow. Thanks for the video take care x
Hey Lisa....all turned out great.....both pineapple accelerated rapid on my recipe but they were OK, not the design I would have liked to do or the colours, but still a lovely soap
Thank you, citrus is so tricky. I use 10 fold orange in the orange one (can't seem to find folded lemon or lime that doesn't cost a fortune) the orange sticks brilliantly, for others I mix with the clay and allow to sit to help a little bit, but it is tricky
Those little avocados - awww! They're too cute! Is the mango still kind of noticeable in the final soap, or does its scent vanish completely during the soaping process?
Thanks so much, no, just like most things you put in the soap you won't notice the actual thing, but will get the benefit from the sugars it adds to the soap
As you were making the first soap, I was trying to figure out how it matched the thumbnail! Once you started making the second soap I finally had the Ah ha! moment 😂
Fantastic video, I love how you explain everything so clearly. When I saw this recipe from Tania & Scot I wasn’t very keen. Now that I have watched your video, I am inspired to give it a go. Can I ask, did you make the miniature avocados with some of the mixture (using the same recipe)?
HI, thanks so much. yes the avocados are made from exactly the same recipe. I made some soap dough using the recipe, but no essential oil. Then when I used the soap dough I kept track of how much I used so that I knew how much clay I had used in the avocados. Then when I made up the soap for my base the clays that I used for colouring were adjusted for what had been used in the soap dough avocados to make sure everything stayed in the same %s for the whole soap.
Hi Lisa.... One day when I grow up I hope to make the soap that you do😁😊 I've made my 3rd bar of soap so I'm still a baby at this craft, I'm battling with temperature because I melt my hard oil but when it's time to stick blend, it clumps up in my stick blender... What was the lye VS oil temperature for these soaps? Thank you for the inspiration... Your amazing
IS that coconut Milk or creame?! Sorry I see that is milk but i'm wondering how come is so creamy looking🤔And I'm very interesting if these bar of soaps are creamy, couse i'm looking for creamy silk bar that are not drying for the skin and I want to try to make soap with avokado for so long, because it seems to me that it could be nourishing for the skin.. any suggestion? Thank you so much❤️❤️ Wonderfull video as always, you are truly a biig artist😇❤️ Warm hugs from Slovenija🤗🤗🥰🥰
It is coconut milk but a very high percentage of coconut, it had 75%. Adding milks will help give a creamy bat, adding the fruit will increase sugar and therefore bubbles
Hi Lisa! How long did you let these bars sit before cutting and how long did you let them cure? Wondering what the difference might be since there is fresh fruit and how much that (or doesn't) affect(s) the cure time. Thank you! :)
I let them sit for 2 days to cut as they were a bit soft due to the higher olive oil than I normally use and no sodium lactate. For the cure, again as the recipe has quite a bit of olive oil I haven't put them up for sale yet. I will be listing them in this upcoming shop release, so that will be a 3 month cure
Wow. You DO strive for perfection. Even in the TINIEST details!!😳🤕💖😘👏👏👏👏👏😘🙀🤯 a TRUE artiste in every sense of the word!👍🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌👏👏👏💖😳and YET, You still remain within the bounds of this mysterious "assessment" business(complete mystery to those of us here in N.A.....????🤪🤯👏👏👍 better you than me, friend. @@IDreamInSoap I will definitely buy loads of stuff when I am in the uk or when my aunt and uncle are coming over ,, 🥰🥰
@@IDreamInSoap I use freshly dried spinach infused in oil. It has a beautiful dark green. And ofcourse the colour fades over time in soaps 😊
Enjoyed
Thanks Karen :-)

Your soaps look great and I always appreciate your sharing your knowledge. How do you keep the citrus essential oil scent from dissipating?
