I am a former and present decorative artist and painting watermelons was something I really enjoyed. I am a new soaper and I LOVE your watermelons! Going the extra mile with the seeds and the mix of greens for the rind was awesome! So So wonderful!
Love this watermelon soap! Just curious, what fragrance oil did you use? I have a few already but nothing that smells like a Starburst watermelon candy (but I can certainly taste the candy right now! If you do not feel free to let me know, I understand for sure. I am also a decorative painter and painted lots of watermelons plus have grown them!
Thank you! It's sour watermelon candy from Nature's Garden. It smells very nice, but it's naughty for me. According to the reviews, it seems my experience is not the norm!

@@mymanaturals8863 it's much more powerful than the battery operated ones! I went through 3 or 4 of those before getting the corded one. I use it with almost every batch!
I'm so glad you enjoy watching! I usually use about 4 ounces for this size batch. Basically I use 2 ounces for every 10 ish bars. For my big slab that makes 36 bars, I use 6 ounces. Then for batches that I want to stay fluid for a long time, I'll use one ounce for every 10 ish bars.
It can, but it also depends on how set up the lower layer is. That's why I like to mix the layers separately and not all at the same time. I like to give the lower layers time to set up more. You could also place your mold on a heating pad, but I was using an accelerating fragrance, so I knew it would set up enough.
I made the seeds out of soap dough and a clay extruder. I let them dry a bit and cut them for the top. I used the long canes for the inside of the soap.

Thank you! I'm so glad you like them 💕 It was a challenge to figure out how to work with such an accelerating fragrance.
I like the fancy picture the fragrance oil is poured from!
Lol! It's so fancy, isn't it?! It was a wedding gift 24 years ago meant for coffee creamer, but we aren't fancy people so I just use it for fragrance.
Love it!! Your layers are perfectly straight.
Thank you! Sometimes having an accelerating fragrance works to your advantage!
So cute! I love your colors too!

This is a naughty fragrance, but as long as you're prepared, it's workable. Thank you!

Where do you buy Soap Dough from?
I make it myself, or I purchase from Sorcery Soaps (I use recipes found in her books).
Does using the spatula stop the soap from mixing with the lower layer?

Hi what seeds did you use. Thanks

Could i know about the dimension of your soap mold please ...
@@Shakaboom33 that one is the common purple mold you can get on Amazon. It's 10.2 inches long, 2.8 inches wide, and 3 inches deep.
