would have turned the poly function off in the preferences for each sound (note on /off) otherwise each sound is played with the same sample length.... kinda un-funky .:)
I'd definitely grab it if it's in decent condition. use it for all my hardware stuff - one of my best investments for "that sound." its very grungey when you push it hot, if thats what you're after. if you want pristine audio quality, avoid (also this is the NON VLZ version, just fyi)

I see you have mackie vlz 1604 mixer i also have 2000xl and can get that mixer. Do u use it? Does it sound good?
