Great video. My thoughts about this figure remain the same since he came out - what is wheeljack recognisable for? Giant wings and a huge rocket launcher. Don't understand the miniature versions. Merry Christmas Gérard
@@darqen666 I like how the wings are built into the alt mode but maybe a slide mechanism to make them more pronounced in bot mode could have been good. Hope you enjoy your Christmas also!
Cool. Yeah, the paint scuffing - its too limited I think. It doesn't look natural or weathered or like he's been through the shit, it looks like an after thought. If they wanted to do that they should have done it all over the figure I think, not just certain areas - the back end looks fairly pristine for example, at least in comparison. It works better for Springer, but again - its too limited I think. Also, its about more than paint - to pull this kind of thing off well I think you have to have texturing of the plastic, maybe melting or deforming it slightly to indicate that he's been around for a while and has seen some things. The sides of the alt mode look a little bare as well - the numbers really help I think. I have the generations version of the character which is very cool, even if the scale is a little weird and the exhaust pipe accessories are a bit odd (I think they're meant to be spanners or something). Cool figure overall though, and nice video. :)
@@Feenix102 Thank you very much for watching 2024's pemultimate review. All your points are well made and valid. I think they have to commit fully to battle damage or else don't bother. It is too hit and miss otherwise.
The battle damage done on these figures is very hit and miss, it looks great on some, and rubbish on this one and some others. That being said, it's a decent mold and has some great sculpting! I'm glad I still own the MP version (and the Exhaust repaint/retool). Belated Merry Christmas, all the very best for 2025!
@@Superfan-UK Thank you for watching. I am going to take a look at Siege Megatron and Kingdom Galvatron at some point in the future to see if their damage holds up.
@@WolfKang1 You're welcome, and that sounds awesome. I've got that version of Megatron, but the Unicron/reformatting version of Galvatron, so thankfully it doesn't have any damage paint apps lol.
Great video and Merry Christmas Wolfkang1
