You take me back to “the good ol days”. I’m 75 years old now, but back in the 1970’s my buddies and I would work 10 hour days to get our 40 in just so we’d have 3 days to spear fish in the Keys.

Absolutely love the commercial breakdowns. I pretty much only eat what I catch, but id feel more than fine buying fish if i knew it was from you

As a (mostly) fly angler who practices (mostly) catch-and-release, I want to say that I really appreciate your sense of conservation. I love the underwater view you provide of fish behavior. I see some spearfishing channels where they seem to shoot every fish they see, including fish that are scarce or that aren’t really table fare, and it really seems wasteful. You represent the other extreme. I appreciate that!

its a real bummer when people behave that way. truly love everything about the ocean and just want to be a part of it rather than try to kill everything in it. still apart of the circle of life but with a little respect. thanks for the feedback!

Aaron I have to say that I appreciate your fishing ethics. Just like women I am a firm believer in catch and release. But jokes aside I really appreciate what you're doing. There are a lot of young UA-camr's out there and you are setting an excellent example of the way it should be done. Only harvest what you need or what you can sell and be selective.

Love love these videos. Lots of spots and realism told. That's what's so great about your videos. No sugar coating. You tell the good , the bad and the ups and downs. So happy you had a really great commercial day. Really glad to see your subs climbing. Yee haw, Aaron. Keep 'em coming and we'll keep watching. Gotta go now and order my Dibs on bottom shirt.😘

I totally know what you mean and appreciate the safety aspect of it and how thorough you are. Many times when I go spearing with people, I end up spending most of my time watching everyone and watching over them because nobody is watching anyone including ME. Needless to say I won’t go out with those people ever again.
I got my FII a while back, level one, and that changed my entire approach to Spearfishing and free diving. I wish I could find like minded SAFETY FIRST people to sivri with on a more regular basis.

Theres always just something super reassuring about "welcome back underwater everybody" 🙂
You mentioned gutting fish to put chum in the water, and also mentioned sharks, but unless I missed it I didn't see any in this footage. I figure especially with the 3 of you all spearing multiple fish in the same spot, that'd likely attract them.

Your channel and content is a great example of how most of us hunters and fishermen ARE great conservationists regardless of whether we do it or pleasure or as a business; either way, we strive to protect and care for the species that feed our passions and our families. With some data on yield, gas consumption, and unnecessary loss of life we could probably put a number on the environmental impact of the different forms of fishing.

Thanks Aaron for another great trip. Jealous that I never gave spearfishing a try, too old and out of shape now. Living vicariously through you! Keep it up, glad to see you making some bank on the commercial side.

Hey Aaron I don't mean to copy the last comment, however I also RARELY buy fish, I totally agree with Nick... I'd probably be the guy sitting in the parking lot hoping I could buy whole fish from you at a dollar more a pound then the market will pay. Even a couple bucks more per pound. I am down with the cheeks the collars the throat and I probably barbecue the rack as well. Your commercial content is a home run

really love to hear it, hope to some day have fish harvest by spear a staple at the market and available for purchase specifically.

You are your harshest critic. For a big chunk of your audience, they have never experienced a fraction of what you do on a day to day basis. There is always something new with your day, that most people have never seen.
    Smooth sailing.
