Every video is a new adventure!!! Those lemon sharks were huge. Seeing you keep your composure around them and keeping your ego in check in the heat of the moment was graceful dood. I miss the Haddock, lobster, and soft shell crabs from when I lived in Maine… I’m gonna have to get some of that snapper too. The pickings are slim for fresh fish in PA
@@like10mirkats I had some fresh haddock this last summer that my son in law caught and it was amazing. I’ve actually got sick of lobster! 🤪 if you can believe it. But watching Aaron catch and cook these fish that I’ve never had has made me want them so bad!!

I Really love seeing the turtles, that makes my day ! Here in Eastern Ontario Canada I’m proud to say many people have been putting effort into protecting our Turtles. Big changes over the last 40 years, and many community minded rescue them off the roadways, hi ways and byways.
The last time I was in Florida I was fortunate when out in boat to see one of your beautiful sea turtles fly up be side our boat and have a look before gracefully flying off. Magnificent creatures!

Excellent ! Super visibility rarely makes for great spearing. Great visibility makes for fun and great filming. The medium visibility where they can’t really sense that you are a predator until they’re in range is when you can slay the fish.

Raining and 50 degrees up north so I loved watching this!
So I just started watching the video. And you said something that I remember being taught by my father. You use a different word. you said the whys and why nots. With me it was the what if's. My father told me you can't change what happened you can only learn from it. Accept what happened and move on. So there is no why nots or what if's. It took me a little while to implement his lesson There are no short cuts. When you finally accept it life gets a little easier. Or you can use master oogway's. The past is history. The future is a mystery. but today is a gift and that's why we call it the present. I have a lot less sleepless nights now. I do love what you do. You are my favorite UA-cam spear fisherman. You put out consistent videos on a regular basis and I can live it vicariously by watching them.

The whole reason I watch these is to learn from someone with a lot of experience spearfishing, listening to your thought process is about as good as it gets for that. Also, great third person shots. And that was the friskiest turtle I've ever seen, I seen em not mind people before, but that guy was just straight up coming to you.
When you do a drop, I like to pause the video and see if i can "iSpy" the grouper before you shoot it LOL! Great vid man loving the content

I see. There’s a guy in Thailand who sells his own fish directly without any third party. I’m sure you can’t do that but I enjoy seeing the success he has.

I’m from the PNW and it’s very cool to see all the diversity you guys have down there. Never done spear fishing, but it looks like a blast!
Got offshore with me in my boat, to instruct novice saltwater anglers, on the do’s and dont’s of the gulf. I’ve done a lot of inshore , but don’t feel confidant enough to go much past the jetties, I’m sure there is a lot of guys like me!

One thing notice in your safety protocol is that you load your speargun in the water, and assume you unband them before boat entry.
Years past did a lot of spear fishing off the coast of California and the outer Islands. Had a blast… but it was stressed on all the dive boats, 18-25 divers, if you brought back a loaded speargun it immediately thrown overboard. Period no conversation no excuses

As always, awesome video/presentation. I was in Belize this past week. On the way to the airport, in conversation about where I live (Cudjoe Key) and spearfishing, the resort’s taxi driver states he is one of your followers and loves watching your videos. He specifically said he likes the way you spare harvesting certain species to promote healthy ecosystems, as you just did on the Cuberra.. keep up the great work and example of a standard all fishermen should strive to hold… I thought you might enjoy knowing people around the world are respecting your ethics… see you on the next one , sincerely Juan F.

After watching some of these fish rock themselves and having been a follower for a couple of years now, why not carry a mini scuba tank? Something small that would let you get the fish in one drop when it gets stuck? I remember watching a video where I believe it took you quite a few drops to get the fish.
its just not something that happens often enough to bring the extra gear. and scuba gear is quite expensive.
