  • This is a tip on anyone having issues with the 2004 - 2008 5.4L and 4.6L engine shake and cylinder misfire codes. Codes like P0303 Cylinder misfire detected. These are some things you can try before doing the plugs and coils. Flashing engine lights and misfires are common.

Thank you for the vid… I might as well give all three a shot. Otherwise I’ll go back to telling the wife that I have to drive for a few hours to test, when really I’m going to play golf

That’s not vacuum line you plugged there buddy, it’s your A/C system moisture drain. You better unplug that unless you want to replace your evaporator core because it’s been sitting in water.

This worked great. I removed my plug ins to the PCM, sprayed the pins with CRC Electrical Connector Cleaner and used my air compressor to dry them out and clean out any debris. These pins were very clean anyway. Then I went to Lowes and picked up the weather stripping and cleaned off the old gasket material on the air filter case. I also vaccumed out the area where the filter goes. It is running much better. Thanks so much!!

You plugged it and it went away... plugged it to what? You said it went to absolutely nothing.. I feel if you would demonstrate the video a little better then people would see. We came to UA-cam to watch a video...

Different year: 2002 F150 Triton 5.4l. I replaced A/C and all hell broke loose. I had p0352 (second cylinder electrical issue) and A/C compressor would not run. Changed spark plug, injector, ignitor coil with no luck on p0352. Finally, after two year delay, I re-inspected the electrical connectors on the firewall for possible damage. I found that two of the pins in the bolt together connector were pushed back and probably not making good contact. I also found that IF I had a p0352 code the A/C compressor would not run. Every time. When I fixed the connector, both p0352 disappeared AND the A/C compressor ran. I am not sure of the reason for this. This was a key find and allowed me to finally fix both issues by making sure the connector was in good condition. If your not successful at first or only have a temporary/intermittent fix, examine the connector even more closely to make sure that the pins are clean, the gasket is not preventing full engagement, and that your connections to the ignitor coil and fuel injector are securely engaged.
