We dont really pour the soy sauce into the food. That would be really salty. Instead, you can dip a little slice of the meat before eating. It is like this for most sauces like ketchup, gravy or vinegar.

But I enjoy watching how calm and easy going both of you are and seem to have an appreciation for even the most local cuisine (commonly called carinderia). Yes we have had it much cheaper too. But it is right on a tourist beach so we expected it to be more expensive. We did get rice, vegetables and 2 drinks also 😊
We went to the place with the bangus because it was raining and we were hungry. It was also right on Alona beach so we expected it to be expensive. I think the second place cost us around 250 pesos 😅 so much cheaper and the family were lovely. Cannot wait to try more 😁
Yea we overpayed 😅 It was right on the front of a super tourist beach though so we expected to pay WAY MORE!!!! Since then we have only ever payed around 300 at most
It was right on Alona beach. We know it was expensive but we got drinks, rice and veg. Things are always more expensive on the very touristy areas. Most places it's like 300 tops 😅
Yes we are on Siquijor now and it is much cheaper here. It was right on a tourist beach so we expected it to be more. It was a really big fish too. With veg, rice and 2 drinks 😁

900 pesos for 1 bangus? That's too expensive. It is only 350 pesos here in my area in Manila.
Yes we have had it much cheaper too. But it is right on a tourist beach so we expected it to be more expensive.
We did get rice, vegetables and 2 drinks also 😊

We went to the place with the bangus because it was raining and we were hungry. It was also right on Alona beach so we expected it to be expensive.
I think the second place cost us around 250 pesos 😅 so much cheaper and the family were lovely.

It wasn't very crispy but we went quite late in the day and it was super cheap. 😁 it was however really tasty 😋

You be careful going to siquijor, that's where a lot of witches risides in that area.
