That speedrun makes me laugh. Just imagine, in that game Prince trying to fuck with time, and in that run Prince fucking not only with time, but also with logic of space. Just imagine that was part of game as it was planned by developers. Hilarious! Next level of story :D Thanks for that cool run, i'm a huge fan of a series. when i first saw the title or thumbnail in my recommendation i was oh 21 hours 52 minutes..pff i can do it quicker. then i realized it was freaking 21 minutes and felt like this must be a part or some shit until i skipped few minutes and was mind blowned xD
and i still got the same question for almost every speedrun who clips through walls and stuff ... how the hell do you find you have to do this exact set up at this exact spot then rewind time to go to a specific location which can lead to another series of clips and stuff which lead to the end of the game XD ?
1000+ hours of gameplay. They experiment every single possibility and exploit it if it worth it. Imagine that in order to reach 21 minutes run he might have played this game a few thousand times and learnt where he needs to be to achieve a good teleport glitch and so on.

Wow... I had a habit of sitting down and trying to speed run WW when I used to play it obsessively, before I even knew somehing like speed running is a thing. Fastest run was circa 3.5h to Dahaka ending but I'd never even had thought something like this is possible. Very impressive, Kotti. Good job! (PS: I do remember that bug when you jump through the gear and should die but the rewind saves you. Only seen it happen once and I'm convinced I've mistaken it for alternative path. Silly me I guess... ;)

Great run. I knew about the rewind glitch, like the air walk, double jump and such, but had no idea about the zipping through walls. This game never fails to surprise me, even after a decade. Is there a thread where I can read more in-depth about it?
I don't think there is, I'm not sure anyone even fully understands how this stuff works, it's mostly just theories. I could be wrong though, I haven't paid too much attention since I did this run and at least zipless true ending runs apparently have some crazy stuff in them these days.

And the crew seems to be getting less and less enthusiastic as a whole with each coming year.
I might still go to SGDQ17 or something, I got a lot of good games, it's fun running in front of a big audience and it'd be great meeting up with US runners. But the event just isn't what it was years ago.
i was doing a 100 % speedrun and while going to the past to get kilena i suddenly transformed to the prince and when i used the portal again he said the quote from the second time you use a portal raged for 30 minutes
Hmm, how long does it take to you complete the game with collecting all life upgrades and secret weapons? My record is 5 hour 47 minutes with collecting everything including chest artworks.
i completed every game within 8 hours (sands of time, warrior within, two thrones, the forgotten sands) pretty funny if you think of it :D all 100% BTW

Holy fucking shit! I had no idea the PoP series could be speedrun like this! Does this only work for certain versions of the game?
It works for the latest version so all the previous versions too. This works on consoles but there you really have to try.
