Also made me realize how often I refer to our baby’s toys as “enrichment” and remembering how often I previously referred to myself as “gravid” rather than pregnant lol. Love all of your videos and can’t wait to bring the kiddo to your reptile experience once he’s an age where he will enjoy it!
My senior cat, who was also a mom, passed away today (ON Mother's Day), but watching this video of all these healthy mommies makes me feel better. I may have lost my cat today, but new life is always just around the corner and we have the amazing mom's to thank for it. (Also hearing you say "our new employees" is really exciting! Things are happening!)

I’ve never been a fan of the large rack systems for snakes (based on the ones I’ve always seen.) But Ed and Emily, you guys have changed my mind to it. You guys really make these bins so nice for the snakes!
She was my introduction to all snake related things, so when I used to assume that thos was just the standard way to do it. But then I saw how some other people do it and it's so sad and baren! Even Emily's baby bins are better then some of these people. I feel bad for those snakes.
My Mother's Day included planting flowers & an added bonus was seeing my favorite resident slug eater, a good size Dekays snake that lives by our back porch. I had to move the pot she was in but I made her a sweet new hide. I try to teach other gardeners what good snakes they are to have around!
Name Suggestions: Female Ghost Bullsnake: The Grey Lady: Named after the ghost of Ravenclaw from Harry Potter. For the Stillwaters: Kendra meaning Clear Water or Laguna. Patternless Female Bullsnake: Speckles: She's got black speckles down her back. White Sided Female: Fiona meaning White or Ivory Albino Female: Mango or Peaches. I dunno but her coloring reminds me of them. Some other suggestions based on types of noodles: Rigatoni, Orzo, Farfalle, Linguine, Ziti, Tortellini, Udon, Soba, Somen, Lo Mein, Chow Mein.

Brad has just been adopted as the mother of the entire Snake Discovery channel, and now she's a grandmother! Hannah seems to take after her mom, perfect clutch, loves food, and looks the exact same (like, she is the same as Brad in pattern and colors)
@@bbysiea Who is Jane? Hannah was in their first clutch ever and the mom was definitely Brad? D'you mean Janet? Janet was the father, they thought he was a girl and Brad was a boy so that's why the names are switched up, but they have never owned a snake named Jane to my knowledge

They've explained in the past that they kept quite a few babies from that clutch, because one snake in it (Stripey) had a really unusual pattern and they want to breed him with his sisters to see if its genetic. Jane's apparently called that because she has a very typical bullsnake pattern, nothing unusual, so she's a "plain Jane".

One of the very many reasons I absolutely love this channel is that they're more concerned about the snakes who are alive and the babies that they may have had. They make sure the snake is safe and happy :) Not only with snakes but, I've seen breeders be absolutely terrible to the animals. My dog actually is an escape from a puppy mill. She's only about four but the doctor says she's had up to 12/13 litters, we actually found her wandering our neighborhood. And she turned out to be pregnant. But the absolute worst part about it is, she had chewed on her cage so much at the puppy mill that she no longer has front teeth, at FOUR.
