Understanding the Cross, Transfiguration Sermon, 3/3/19

The transfiguration is a glimpse of Jesus glory as he is setting his face toward Jerusalem where he will be crucified. This sermon explores a way of understanding the Cross that is radically different than the view popularized in Evangelical Christianity where God needs Jesus to die so a subset of humans can be spared from God's eternal wrath.
