Dang. Ive been doing it wrong during all my repairs. Could this be why I’m reading over 120 ohms of resistance in one side of my boundary wire (due to degradation at the connection). Thanks for your great vids btw. Much appreciated.
When diagnosing high resistance on a boundary wire system we usually start by looking at any spots where the wire has been spliced because that is usually where we can find a weak connection.
Thanks! Do these work with Meyer wire or Extreme Dog Fence? Is there a version of this connect that's in-line? Like wires in from both sides, rather than only in from one side. So the wire can lay flat. Thanks!
You would have to contact those wire companies to ask what they recommend. We do not recommend using these with MeyerWire because the metal teeth in the connector have been known to crack or break because the wire and insulation is too heavy.
@@RoboticMowerServices Thanks! Have you seen issues with wire decay/have any suggestions to avoid this? Maybe Extreme Dog Fence is OK with the connectors?
?Hi - have a fly go 150 , the mower kept saying no loo signal, I have tested the output of the transformer and its 28v but the voltage output for the bouncy wire is 35v is this correct? if I unplug boundary I get blue light and if I unplug the guide I get a red light but I don't get a green light - Im only testing with a small boundary - does it need to be a minimum length ?
