You should make an evolution tank based off of American tanks, going through all the missions and when you fail at a current one, you upgrade the tank to its needs. Also, use the appropriate American thinking of making tanks for the period, (like, in interwar and early war they had a lot of MGs on their tank.)

Exhaust-based smoke screens are made through the injection of fuel (typically diesel) directly into the exhaust pipe to burn in and actually produce a thick smoke, you're designing smoke launchers which are used to allow a tank to retreat when it is coming under fire (they are typically on the turret facing forwards in a near 180 degree arc)
The outro is phenomenal ! For the name/nickname, I suggest : Albert Roche (french warhero), Le Sans Peur (i.e. Fearless, as it’s technically gone through all WW2 even if outdated), le cavalier (as medium tanks sort of fill the cavalry role) or Panhard EBA for engin blindé d’assaut (i.e. Assault armored vehicule), and Panhard is a tank manufacturer. From what I understand, the exhaust smkoe system is the engine changing the fuel mixture in one or 2 cylinders or applying a heavily smoking mixture into the engine chamber, to make the engine smoke more.
Since you were saying that with every episode of these ChatGPT videos you get more and more able to work with the AI and know what you want to do, maybe make some this a series where you occasionally make tanks with different styles and from different ages. I'd like to see a Japanese tank, maybe a tiny Italian tankette, and even some sort of American tank destroyer or something!

16 minutes into the video, the tank is starting to remind me of the M6 heavy! Forward turret, chonky frontal hull, tall tracks, and L o n g. Loving the video, keep it up!
It looks to me like a Somua. I'd say Somua S38, keeping in line with their naming conventions without intersecting with a real tank while also keeping to that 1938 model year.
Not gonna lie. I did copy your idea and did it myself. I did a tank based on Desert storm. The AI told me to pretty much make an Abrams. It was very interesting. This was a big brain idea!
IMO Meme break should become canon and a regular addition to your videos, doesn't matter where or how long or short, but a meme intermission is necessary!
Hi! I really like this video concept, but I think you could go further with it, possibly asking for any flaws you could recreate, or asking the viewers what general idea of a tank they want, and then the AI moulds it into your creation. How's that? Possibly some prompts: Asian Self propelled artillery, Czech Resistance tankette, Finnish float tank (Like modern bmp floating and mobility) and so on. Thank you if you read this comment!
I believe exhaust based smoke is made by mixing oil or something into the engine and making white smoke that then goes out via the exhaust. Could be wrong tho
sounds about right. I hit something in the road once with my car and it caused transmission fluid getting into my fuel or something idk. anyways I was laying down thick white smoke screens with my car before and after the mechanic visit. It was really embarrassing actually lol
Call it the “Char de Guerre Modèle 1938” basically translates to battle tank model 1938 keeps the intention of the AI but mixes it with the French that it’s been designed around. Similarly could be called the Panthère but it already specified the Latin panthera so that has less grounds for changing.
I would say a good tank name could be the Renault MT-1, 1938. The Medium Tank 1, model: 1938. A modernized version could be Renault MT-1 I. I for improved.
It would be interesting to see how ChatGPT handles a proposal for putting a naval main battery cannon on a tank ala the FV4005 and how it would shape the design around that. It would be interesting to see if it comes up with basically a casemate or assault gun or if it commits to the full turret. Also in regards to your comment about whether or not the AI would generate new information every time with the same prompt, the answer is yes. It’s like asking the same question to a person every time, the general information is the same, but the specifics can vary heavily.
Another tank idea for the chat gpt could be to suggest a tank in 1944 going to a beach landing with shingles on the beach, meaning it’d need to be amphibious (submersible in shallow water, anything goes) and having to face tanks like the jagdpanther, panther, tiger h1 etc, since it’s 1944 it could be a tank from Britain, America or any allied nation for the beach landing (if this idea does go to fruition hopefully it doesn’t have the same casualty rates for the m4 Sherman during Normandy landings). Amazing job anyway for the tanks being created, just suggesting a potential idea for a future project using chat gpt to make a tank for sprocket
For situations like 15:07, i highly recommend to turn off the global axis (yellow globe in the bottom left corner). That way you move objects in axis relative to their angle/position
Hello! I'm new on your channel. It's good to see a tank nerd like me. I instantly noticed the Bonple logo in the background, so I think you also have Gup relation. I loved your tank design, I could imagine it as a main French medium, but I would put it in 1939 or 1940, because the usage of 75mm and 76mm cannons started there. I instantly recognized the problem with the turret. It's a huge disadvantage, but I loved how you solved the problem as a tank commander and not like a tank designer.
Maximum speed makes sense when you consider the tanks roles. saying 'we only want this to hit 30kph' means you can tune it more towards armor, gun, etc. if they said 'I want maximum or 60' random numbers, you'd be making a scout tank or a cruiser. if you can specify the max speed you want, you can make the tank change role more often then you think. if a Churchill could go 60kph, do you think it'd have as good armor as it's known for?
you could ask the AI to make a tank destroyer that sacrifices armor and a turret if you're lookin to get rid of certain traits to gain others, thanks for the great video
I feel like to make this tank somewhat more historical in the whole decals from both French and British vehicles is that this was a free French tank that joined a British unit but kept the French decals to differentiate it from the other British tanks.
HE DID THE FUNNY! HE DID THE FUNNY GIVE HIM THE LIKE! But on a serious note amazing videos this is quite nice to see and honestly you could probably make a series off of this type of content. I really think you'd be able to make a nice series on having the AI give you limitations for all sorts of periods. Maybe give the tank a prompt to counter a certian tank like the T-55 or M46
How about the name Pandore? Being french for Pandora. Pandora's box is a metaphor for something that brings about great troubles or misfortune, but also holds hope. This would maybe fit the aesthetic you have with an old sometime unreliable tank upgraded to help the increasingly desperate french people.
leaf spring suspension will be such a great addition, will make my hungarian Turán tanks more accurate, currently i have to use fenders and storage boxes to resemble the suspension recently i had a series of vehicles i wanted to make in sprocket, hungarian tanks (as a hungarian i had to make them and since they are not well known it was a challenge), i made most of the medium, heavy and tank destroyers (i made 41M Turán I, 42M Turán II, 44M Zrínyi I, 43M Zrínyi II and 44M Tas), still need to make light tanks and heavy tank destroyer and i have a "challenge" for you, make these not well known tanks and make them as accurate as you can
Idea for the name, R.38 based off of the Czechoslovakian LT vz 38 after a short collaboration between the two designers as they looks similar yet not the same. Story could go that after a fallout over armour and firepower the two went their separate ways, the Czechs going on to make the 38 and the French wanting a more multi purpose vehicle for both anti infantry, anti tank and anti emplacement, settled with the 75mm and armour similar to the B1 and C2. For the later war variant created, after the defeat of France, the remaining R.38s not captured or destroyed were sent to Britain where crews there knicknamed them the Jack and Valent, Jack because of its all rounder capabilities yet being a master in none, Valent being derived from the French word Polyvalent meaning multi purpose.
Here is a cool challenge i think. Ask the AI to give you specifications for a 1946 tank destroyer to kill tanks like the IS 3 and the Jagdtiger. Maybe even the maus if you want to go crazy.
I'm so happy that leaf springs will be added after all. This is one of the most common suspension types on Interwar tanks and not having them in the game is just not ok.
In terms of model name of your tank design if you want that we give a bit of story to it, we can make it as prototype model that was suppose to be way more different from all previous french tanks. Thus making it a limited number of prototypes up to 22 (you'll see later what that specific number). Usually tank models are based acronyms of years, purpose, or the factory. I propose then a totally imaginary factory named : ALMENO for "ALliance MEtallurgique de NOrmandie" (Normandy Metallurgical Alliance). The layouts of the design are based on blueprints in the 1938. But since this design was more expensive and and needed more crew, the French Army wouldn't be interested that much to invest into it (money and WW1 general trauma). So the project of ALMENO was stopped. Until the war broke out in 1939, some drawbacks of other operated tanks were noticed. And the need of a new tank was absolute, at that time Renault come up with the B1 while ALMENO bring back his project up to date with some improvements on the engine. Both designs needed to be tested in the fields to see which would be the most valuable. ALMENO built up to 22 prototypes. As Renault brought the B1 bis in order to fix issues on the original design. Despite the efforts of ALMENO, the design was rejected in profit of the B1 bis of Renault. The protos are stored but later in 1940, the germans gain terrain over France, and all equipment available were commissionned. So are the ALMENO Char Prototype 38 or ALMENO CP 38. Each of the 22 prototypes are nicknamed as the 22 regions of France (Bretagne, Normandie, Provence, etc). Then the rest is up to your imagination ...
No way something like this would still be in front line service in '44. It's turret would be incased in concrete facing the ocean somewhere and the chassis would have been repurposed for something more useful like a prime mover or even a command vehicle.
i think an interesting idea that would be circumvent the sort of jankiness of the a.i would be too find existing tank programs, past or present, and try to make a tank that conforms to those requirements (without outright copying the tank that ended up actually being produced if the program was successful)
Possible lore with this tank: during the middle of WW2 the British began working with the French to design a new tank incorporating spare parts from early french heavies and the british churchill heavy.
Who wants to bet the 3rd design is just a weird sherman? Love the vids tho man keep it up! It would be funny tho Ps. You could ask the ai for all the specs of what it wants the tank to be like and do a building competition (say like putting the specs on the discord or somthing) and see what people build with the answers the ai provides

I really like the time you put in this and the crew personality modifications gives off mad max vibes. Definintly enjoyed this and the Ai interactions.
Early on it looked like a much larger BT-7 with an M6 bull or something. Then when you added the ammo, it looked like an M6 with less components for cost saving.
The extra details and grime, the design overall. I love this tank. Good job on this design.
Absolutely LOVE this build. I can totally tell that you were getting into a rhythm in this one
Ngl your criminally Underrated
Liking the Bonple logo behind you!
Finally got chance to sit down and enjoy this video and wow! Two shoutouts and a whole bunch of my home-made weathered decals making the cut. I’m honoured! Very cool tank, might not be as effective as the previous one but feel far more believable and unique 👍 - also we don’t deserve your intros!
Great intro!
I have been following you since 7k subs and I love your channel. I hope you reach 20k soon, and then 50k. Then 100k after that.
Keep up the concent! For someone as small as you, your content quality is amazing. Even for larger channels with 100k+ subs, your content is still high quality.
Go get em champ!
16 minutes into the video, the tank is starting to remind me of the M6 heavy! Forward turret, chonky frontal hull, tall tracks, and L o n g. Loving the video, keep it up!
yo Eta nice stuff 737 views in an hour this series is blowing up keep up the work
I love how this turned out. The decritives really bring it together :]
It looks to me like a Somua. I'd say Somua S38, keeping in line with their naming conventions without intersecting with a real tank while also keeping to that 1938 model year.
At the part where gpt gave you the name "Panthera" and explained it, I 100% expected that to be a case of Chat GPT just making shit up.
Ive been super excited for this video to release! You've gained a new fan :)
Hey, Part 1 is how I found your channel, having watch most of the content on your channel, can't wait for more :) keep up the grind :D
Amazing video as always eta320!!
Can you make a video on the IS 7 next?
Really enjoying these sprocket videos!
WOW that was some fast growth dude! Awesome work!
The exhaust deployment smoke works via applying diesel fuel to the hot exhaust pipes. Thus, creating a thick cloud of smoke
Okay, I know you're going for a British/French hybrid design, but I can't stop seeing a Matilda had a baby with the American M6 heavy.
Overall, the M1938 Panthera looks really cool! And as far as names are concerned, I'd give the weathered one a name unique to that specific unit.
Best spockert video ever seen!! love the decoration
I recently discovered your channel and have been watching your videos constantly
And I can safely say that you have a big future, top tier content
Interesting concept, would like to see more of it
I believe exhaust based smoke is made by mixing oil or something into the engine and making white smoke that then goes out via the exhaust.
Your tank looks like M6/Churchill/Sherman and i love it
I’ve been watching you for a while and it feels nice seeing you get recognition, I hope you will grow more and more
I WAS NOT expecting the burger King ad, top tier tank, top tier meme, top tier skinny chest :)
I've been watching your stuff for a while now and I love it! You should consider making a Patreon!
Great video and great channel! Can't wait for the last tank design.
Just subbed! Greetings from Poland!
I do agree with 3:37 . Eta is very handsome indeed.
I love the look of this one, I wish Cobi had a model of it or something, it’s just so neat.
i love this tank. it just looks so cool
I would say a good tank name could be the Renault MT-1, 1938. The Medium Tank 1, model: 1938. A modernized version could be Renault MT-1 I. I for improved.
Keep up the work, I loved the intro
Excellent video, can't wait to see the next one!
I loved the lore part of this
you could ask the AI to make a tank destroyer that sacrifices armor and a turret if you're lookin to get rid of certain traits to gain others, thanks for the great video
“Wasn’t performing as well as I had hoped.” Yep sounds like a French tank from world war 2
well this one reminds me Renault G1 from world of tanks while it has churchill track protection but cool design and fun video!
Good video mate! It looks like a matilda british tank with a french mix, anyway keep it up we always wait your videos
My name idea would be Montagne(Mountain in French)as Mountains can represent defence and strength and defiance against a powerful foe
The French name for this tank will be Coucher de soleil or Destructeur
How about the name Pandore?
Being french for Pandora.
Pandora's box is a metaphor for something that brings about great troubles or misfortune, but also holds hope.
This would maybe fit the aesthetic you have with an old sometime unreliable tank upgraded to help the increasingly desperate french people.
leaf spring suspension will be such a great addition, will make my hungarian Turán tanks more accurate, currently i have to use fenders and storage boxes to resemble the suspension
recently i had a series of vehicles i wanted to make in sprocket, hungarian tanks (as a hungarian i had to make them and since they are not well known it was a challenge), i made most of the medium, heavy and tank destroyers (i made 41M Turán I, 42M Turán II, 44M Zrínyi I, 43M Zrínyi II and 44M Tas), still need to make light tanks and heavy tank destroyer
and i have a "challenge" for you, make these not well known tanks and make them as accurate as you can
Idea for the name, R.38 based off of the Czechoslovakian LT vz 38 after a short collaboration between the two designers as they looks similar yet not the same.
I like it. It looks French and British. Great job. Also, the M10 gun in '38 would be OP
for some reason reminsd me of a comet, great video as usual!
Good to see you growing been watching for a bit now
I'm so happy that leaf springs will be added after all. This is one of the most common suspension types on Interwar tanks and not having them in the game is just not ok.
Okay so I love the AI tank vids and I came back for that but unironically that meme section was amazing
Eta my beloved, has returned from the abyss
No way something like this would still be in front line service in '44. It's turret would be incased in concrete facing the ocean somewhere and the chassis would have been repurposed for something more useful like a prime mover or even a command vehicle.
This is just lovely
i think an interesting idea that would be circumvent the sort of jankiness of the a.i would be too find existing tank programs, past or present, and try to make a tank that conforms to those requirements (without outright copying the tank that ended up actually being produced if the program was successful)
Possible lore with this tank: during the middle of WW2 the British began working with the French to design a new tank incorporating spare parts from early french heavies and the british churchill heavy.
Who wants to bet the 3rd design is just a weird sherman?
Love the vids tho man keep it up!
It would be funny tho
Ps. You could ask the ai for all the specs of what it wants the tank to be like and do a building competition (say like putting the specs on the discord or somthing) and see what people build with the answers the ai provides
I think it looks more British than French, except for the turret. Really cool, though. Can't wait for Airfix to drop a 1/72 kit of it
wonderous! new videography for me to partake in
This is the vid that made me aware of your existence
