- The final renovation for the barn for 2023 is officially complete. The back side of the roof with huge gaps in roof cover has finally been replaced with brand new corrugated roofing. Then we order potting soil by the pallet! Our first officially bulk order with a farm collective in our area! Finally we prep new growing beds for the winter with composted mulch and shredded leaf bits from our home lawn.

The excitement of you and the kids running down the hill filled my heart it was like Christmas Morning!
It’s been awhile since I’ve been on, and you’ve made so much progress! The barn looks amazing with the new roof, and the soil in your new garden rows should have tons of nutrients. You are an absolute work horse. I hope everything keeps working out for you…you deserve it if anyone does.

The barn roof looks beautiful and I enjoyed seeing the area as you left the farm to get the potting soil. That’s so great you’re part of a farmers group and can get supplies more inexpensively and so close to the farm.

Your barn roof looks great! And what a good feeling to have all the compost you need for seed starting and potting up in the spring. When I'm excited to start seeds, the last thing I want to be doing is scrambling to find good compost in spring. You may want to spread a very light layer of compost over those leaves. If you get a windy day before the snow blanket, they will be gone with the wind! Emma did a good job with the camera💞
