i disagree 100%, sure no one likes to pay to play online, but you are getting so much more with that fee. like party support. much more stable gameplay online. the 360 is a far better experience online then the ps3 by a long shot.

@@johnanderson-wo7mi ummm unless i am mistaken very few games nowadays do peer 2 peer. maybe games like black ops or modern warfare. but most games have gone server side for hosting, as it makes games more stable. this isn't the early 2000's no more. companies have huge server banks for just that purpose.

Development for PS3 began in 2003, was first shown to the public in may 2005 and again in september 2005. It has a completely different hardware config and processor, you cannot modify such big changes a year prior to official launch. Sony also made a right choice of choosing Bluray drive back when the battle between HD DVD and Blu was still fierce. PS3 came out with WiFi, optical audio port, touch on/off and eject buttons in 2006. Xbox modified their consoles with the same features in mid 2010.

I have a 360 right now, but I've been playing on PC a bit more recently. Tbh, I don't wanna pay to play online anymore and if the ps3 can give me that...I'm kinda willing to trade my 360. Mostly just because, I don't need a nextgen system, I have my PC.

Bruh looking back Xbox live was soooo ahead of it’s time. The fact you can join a party with your friends and play different games or even watch movies together. The seamless menus and integration and just ughh it was truly an awesome time. I’m actually sad that Xbox fell off so hard. I was never a fanboy as I owned both consoles but Xbox really was the place to be.

Im going to say something, The PS3 is better because you don't have to pay Fucking pay 60 dollars a year or 20 bucks for three months because what if you pay 60 dollars on xbox live then you don't feel like playing xbox for a year then you payed 60 dollars for nothing and with the ps3 you don't have to pay nothing and the ps4 came out and i thought online was free but i and you had to pay 50 dollars and i didn't want to buy that ps4 SHIT. so im sticking with the ps3 witch make better deals and the xbox 360 controller sucks because you have to put batteries wth its gonna suck for you if you have a xbox 360 and the with the batteries cost like 6 dollar or something and the ps3 controller may be tiny but it is good because you can recharge it instead of fucking buying AA batteries every single couple months and im sticking with the ps3 intill there is a new console with free online and if theres nothing then im staying with the ps3 forever.

Played Gaylo, wasn't impressed. Went and got a PS3 in '07 and never looked back. Every COD sells more than a Gaylo game so you can keep playing Master Queef and pay $ for online play.
Also you get DLC for most games at least 2 weeks to a month earlier on the Xbox especially for Call of Duty so that's awesome!
Well they are both just about as reliable as one another, the Xbox you can download music on to the disk and you can have Blu Ray if you do a bit of tinkering with your setup as I did.

Well, what games do you play? I play Starhawk, Killzone 3, MAG, Grand Theft Auto 4, and Call of Duty Black Ops. They all run very smoothly, Dust 514 is the only game I play that isn't very smooth, but it's in BETA stage.

PS3 is good for offline, it is actually great for younger gamers and older, the xbox is aimed for older gamers, but they are both amazing consoles

As a PS3 owner, i admit the Xbox far far better online experience overall, such as chat in a party, mid game store access and all that. the online community is a little saturated with kids, more often than not brats, but you don't have to deal with them. I like what Sony tried to do but unless you were in the same game communication is a little difficult, not like the Xbox. But my problem with Xbox is i can't afford Xbox live fees.

Xbox Live is better than PSN for online play, even though you do pay for it. Definitely more stable. It all depends what you want. If you want online play, go for the 360.
Btw be happy with your 2 hour long updates and an additional 30 minutes for installing which is not needed in xbox 360. Enjoy!!!
