Visiting Kilmainham Jail in Dublin

Jail, a museum that not only tells the story of the prisoners who were housed there but also the story of Irish history and in particular, the country's fight against British rule. It is primarily known as the place where 14 Irish revolutionaries were executed in its courtyard for their part in the Easter Rising of 1916, possibly the most important uprising in all of Irish history.
