So we have followed your recommendations while here in Ireland and you guys have made our visit wonderful. All selections have been fantastic and memorable! Thank you!
Your videos are so much fun to watch not only because of the great tips offered but also because you two exude so much joy! I’m now adding Dublin to my bucket list.
What fun! We were just in Dublin for 3 nights in May. I highly recommend the Hop on Hop off bus for one or two days. It takes you all around the city and tells you where the free museums are. It also gives you coupons for meals. Temple Bar area is great. We went to a few places where we heard live music and tried a whiskey tasting. Quay’s Pub had great food on Temple Street. Big tip: buy your whiskey in the duty free shop at the airport. So much cheaper!
Great video! We leave for our dream trip in Ireland in less than a month and will be all over, with one day in Dublin. Thanks for the great ideas, y’all seem so fun!
Ah, the only beer so dark and rich, even the foam has its own personality and the only beer that looks even better when I'm in the picture lol! Kidding aside, I was also there earlier this month for our TV show and got myself a beer with my picture in it. Absolutely satisfying place.
So excited for the group trip in 2024!!! You guys with others will be a BLAST!!! Loved the vlog ❤Great job!! Looking forward to the next one!! 🎉👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Thanks for sharing this video I lived in Ireland for 20years with my x wife a local lassie and I miss living in the countryside 😊lol from me in England 😊
So... binge watching all of your videos (on my personal acct) from the beginning and found my way back to this one. I originally watched it this past spring while looking for ideas to plan our quick 50 or so hour trip to Ireland. It was so helpful. We visited Temple Bar of course (a must), St. Patrick's Cathedral, Guinness, Molly Malone, O'Neill's, Jameson, EPIC Irish Emigration Museum, Whelan's Pub, Brazen Head Pub, and even rented a car to drive to Blarney Castle and Kilkenny where we did the Smithwicks Brewery tour and visited a local cemetery looking for my 4x great grandfather's grave (our own video is finally being worked on after months of sitting on my phone). Love your videos and you two are so great!
Adding to my comment, sorry your O'Neill's experience wasn't great. We went in June on a Monday, and had our food in 20 minutes, but I think we missed the lunch rush. It wasn't at all busy while we were there, and we had the room we were in to ourselves until about 10 minutes before we left.
YES!!! O’Neill’s is amazing! My husband and I still dream about the roast stew there. And the atmosphere and character of it all is fantastic. So glad y’all went there. 😃❤️‼️ I’m sad that you had a disappointing experience
Aw, thanks so much for watching! We're so glad that you found the video helpful! Have SO much fun in Ireland! We'll be back in June 2024! Safe travels! 😊
@@yzwoody We absolutely loved Dublin. It feels like a mini NYC, except it is cleaner and the people are so incredibly nice! There's so much to do and see, especially if you're a history lover.
Loved the video. I love Dublin so it was nice to revisit with your video. I recently found you guys and have been enjoying watching your older videos too. Nat I have to say I so appreciate you getting Chai lattes - that is my drink of choice as well!
We are excited for all your videos but particularly this one because we leave for a British Isles cruise soon with a stop in Dublin, but then that sponsor. I can’t wait to try it. I spend so much time planning!!!! Yay! Thanks for all the info you give in each video!!
Love Dublin! Spent two weeks in Ireland many years ago and still one of my favorite destinations. Finally tried the white pudding my second last morning and discovered it is exactly like something called goetta which is popular where I grew up near Cincinnati, OH. Who knew!
Awww well WELCOME! We are so happy to have you! 🍀🎉 We hope you have an absolutely marvelous time in Ireland! It’s such a beautiful country, so much to do, see & eat!! 💗 Thanks for watching & for your kind comment! 🥰
You are both so positive, I hope you had a lovely time in Dublin. I know it’s gotten expensive, it can be a bit grimy at the minute too, but it is a beautiful historic city
When I looked into my family tree, I also had (great, great) grandparents called O'Neile. (There are a few different spellings.) From what I've read it's an important, historically royal, clan in Ireland. They used to be high kings of all Ireland.
You guys definitely need to come check out Charleston since you have not been and there are some amazing places and new places you are going to have to try to eat and check out also make a trip out to Summerville to see and experience new things there as well
Oh Nat! The mashed peas you need to eat at the time same with the fish otherwise they don’t taste like much. And you need to squeeze some lemon on top of it before you dip your fish in it. It’s a great combo if you try it this way
Wow, this was incredible!! I love a good walking tour and I’m sure it would be especially cool there with so much history. Also, Natalie, I think I’m with you on the pea purée. Haha
Thanks so much, Cathy! 😊 Oh that’s awesome! We’ll be back in June!🙌🏼 For getting around the city, we walked pretty much everywhere, but for further distances, Dublin public transportation is a great. It’s not always the fastest, which is why we ended up taking a taxi (using the FreeNow app) when we were in a bit of a rush to make our entry time at the Guinness Storehouse. I hope that helps! Thanks so much for watching, and safe travels! -Matt
Hit Darkey Kelly’s for food. Fabulous bangers and mash and buddy who is notoriously picky loved his seafood chowder?? Several years ago but it was great!!
Nice video! Ive heard Guinness is Ireland is totally different than the US! I don’t like dark beer either, but can’t wait to have one. My family and I will be in Ireland this December for 11 days! Can’t wait!
We are planning our trip to Dublin, but we don’t drink at all & have no interest in the history or making of alcohol. We are excited to try the food: stew, fish, ice cream & see the history, cathedrals, castle, souvinier shopping & see the countryside!
That’s so awesome! What a cool place to run a marathon! And an accomplishment! I ran a half marathon last year and know the mental and physical toughness it took, so cheers to you!🍻 -Matt
Dublin is awesome. As the saying goes "the closer you get to Dublin, the better the Guiness tastes"...interesting about the Long Library and the restoration. Having been there in May 2017, the shelves without the books looks very different.
Well in My Local in Donegal.Tge Guinness is as good if not better than Dublin. I was in Dublin last weekend.TBH Those Days of Guinness being better are Gone!😅
As someone who lives in somewhat of a tourist town (Nashville, Tennessee), I totally understand your Dubliner colleagues advice! Locals aren't likely to hang out at spots like the Guinness Storehouse or Temple Bar Pub, or tour places like Trinity College/The Book of Kells or Christ Church Cathedral, but as we say... Tourist sights are typically the most visited sights for a reason. They're worth seeing/experiencing at least once! That's just our opinion though🤷🏻♂️ Thanks for watching!😊 -Matt
Wow Dublin is pretty awesome. That Irish breakfast looked amazing my kind of breakfast! And that church ⛪️ just beautiful…Love you two stay safe, can’t wait til the next one 🙏👍✈️🍟🍤🥩🥔
Any real Dubliner will tell you to avoid Temple Bar as it is a massive tourist trap. Drinks cost twice as much as all the real Dublin pubs that are a short walk away. I hear that a pub called Coppers is good. You'll have a much better time talking and laughing with real Dubliners.
The breakfast needs to be eaten together. I mean the egg yolk and beans are there to serve as the sauces for all the meats. There should be at least three items on your fork for every mouthful. Believe me, it looks messy, but it's the way to go.
I've actually been living in Dublin for 8 years and never went or heard about the museum building! Wow that's a cool finding, just for this thank you even if I knew about the rest!
McGuire’s in Destin is a true Tourist Trap. It’s inevitable because of the high rises and lodging all around it. The better of the two is the original one in Pensacola (or PCola). ‘Lived on the Gulf Coast for many years and the locals hang there. 😊
Sláinte! (Cheers in irish) 🍺 lovely day for a Guiness! When I saw you guys were in Dublin, I was soooo excited to watch your video! In college I spent a semester at Dublin Business School so Dublin has a piece of my heart ❤ Good choice on going to Christ Church Cathedral, St Patrick Cathedral is beautiful, but Christ Church is just majestic 😍 and the Guiness DOES taste better in Dublin! If you have time, I'd recommend checking out Phoenix park, Jameson, and Glasnevin Cemetary. And Howth (north of Dublin) is a beautiful little village too. Awesome video! Cant wait to see your other Ireland videos!
Oh my goodness! Sorry you didn't see the library before the cleaning. It was like a room made for Harry Potter. Ugh nothing worse than a library devoid of books. Enjoy the travels and your opinion on stuff.
The short answer... Yes! The long answer... April is what's called the "shoulder season" meaning it's in between the high season and the low season. You'll have less crowds and pricing for lodging, rental cars, etc will likely be less. The trade off is that you MIGHT not have as favorable weather as if you were to visit in the high season... BUT it's Ireland and the weather is wildly unpredictable, so you may have incredible weather! Lol... We honestly prefer to travel to most destinations during the shoulder season! Hope that helps!
Black pudding buds, not blood pudding. That was a small breakfast to be honest, better off going to a pub for it if you ever return. I'd highly advise trips to Glasnevin Graveyard, a trip to the Gravediggers Pub aka John Kavanaghs and for me the most iconic building in Dublin - Kilmainham Gaol. Nice upload, keep safe. 👍🏻 👊🏻🇮🇪👊🏻
From my understanding, Black Pudding and Blood Pudding/Sausage are the same thing. The names are used interchangeably and change depending on the region or country that you’re in. Thanks for the recommendations! We’ll be back next year and will have to try and check them out! Thanks for watching!😊
Another Excellent Vid! My wife & I spent time in Dublin (& all of Ireland) back in May! Hey Anne! Thanks for watching! While the public transportation is great, it’s not always the fastest. In this particular situation, it was going to take twice as long to get to where we needed to go (Guinness Storehouse) using public transportation and we didn’t have that time to waste, so we opted for a taxi.

man, seeing temple bar, trinity college etc. i just wanna get back. such an amazing country. hope you guys made it to Cork, Limerick, Kilkenny and Belfast
When you return make sure to visit our museums, they're all free (Public ones). The National museum holds the viking broaches I found, they have their own case on 2nd floor!
Subscribed for 24 hours but now backing away. You two are undoubtedly beautiful individuals but the endless toothy smile positivity is way way too much. I don’t believe that is real and I think a bit of dirty grit makes people more real. Anyway you don’t need me or my opinion, you’re doing great! Good luck!

Nothing wrong with having beans for breakfast. Until a few hours later, that is.
