Not using voice and making the viewer focus only on the video really creates a while different vibe, totally love your videos.
But you know there are subtitles, don't you?
The vibe is like going on a trip and making these sorts of observations and remarks to yourself in your head
@@dianna0076 that's exactly what I'm saying, using subtitles instead of voice
@@Xoic3s oh okay then, I got it wrong, sorry
and subtitles in lots of languages are the best
I love how people on the station are waving as the train goes by. It seems like such a small gesture, but it's really heartwarming in so many ways. Such hospitality and gesture of kindness doesn't exist where I'm from, so it always warms me up when I do see it happen. This was an amazing video, I had a lot of fun watching!
I don't know why, but seeing the people and even the staff waving good-bye to the train on the platform made me smile so much.
“The curtains are as beautiful as the toilet paper at your local school.” 😂🤣😂 I literally guffawed. You are the best. 🥰
Dude. You’re a whole new genre lol. You make us laugh while teaching great travel stuff of Japan. It’s really nice. You make my wife and I smile every time. Thank you 😊
I LOVE how everyone waves when the train is departing
I love how enthusiastic everyone is for this new train, especially those guys in the rice fields LOL, hope they got some nice pictures!
Japanese trains are so beautifully maintained, you cannot easily tell how long they have been in service.
First of all, you have taught me something. My youngest son and I spent the night in New Orleans last week. As we were leaving our room, without realizing it, I thanked the room for a wonderful stay! Second, I absolutely love your channel. I have binge watched almost every one. America's ferry's, trains, and busses are nothing like what I have seen on your channel. Added to my Bucket List is going to Japan and experiencing some of these amazing things! ❤️
I don't know exactly what it is,but there is something unique about the 'vibe' that Japan and the People exude.Visiting Japan is high on my bucket list.
You should think about doing a second channel about eating Japanese food. It's amazing, looks like a ceremony and has a very strong calming and sleeping effect (something like ASMR) 🙂
After watching so many of these videos, I'm really starting to like and admire the Japanese people. They're so respectful, friendly, and decent. I hope to someday make a trip to Japan so I can experience it all.
On my first trip to Tokyo I felt like a KING, which was a strange feeling. The best 2 weeks of my life.
Imagine, this was a nation who made massacre to Korea and China during the second world war. They needed to be nuked by USA to stop, and it took them 80 years to get back to normal. What will stop Russians in Ukraine? Who many years they will need to become a normal nation?
It looks wonderful. I would love to visit Japan.
Another great view, review! Best line: "We are somewhere in Japan." Love your humor, too.
It's so funny how the Japanese avoid interaction, but love to sayonara-wave enthusiastically from a safe distance! 🤣
"Someone waved back!", was my favorite part.
Thank you for another wonderful video of your most beautiful country.
🇯🇵🌏🔭💫💙🤗
These videos are so incredibly peaceful! Thank you for posting!
it's cute every time the people start to wave back! my heart is full and warm!
😂Mate I nearly choked when I did read you thoughts about that curtain. As usual great to travel with you. Beautiful train and great before and after comparison. Everytime so relaxing. Thanks for the trip and the foot. Everytime just so relaxing. Have a good start into the new week.
I know Belly Dancers that use less sheer veils than that curtain
"It tastes like clay" SENT me. This guy's sarcasm was too good 💀
“The curtains are as beautiful as a roll of toilet paper at your local school.”
Winner! 👏 🥳 You are a modern day Jack Kerouac brimming with dry humour. I love it! Such a big fan of your videos. It makes me wish that I can just head to Japan and do all the same trips!
I discovered your channel recently. I really love it. Sometimes I use the currency converter to find out how much one of your trips would cost me in my country's currency. 😅 I like the subtitles and not the voice, but I wouldn't mind listening to you sometime. 😊 I like to travel through your videos. Thank you! Greetings from Argentina. (sorry for writing with the translator) I hope you understand. 😉🇦🇷
I'm really looking forward to your channel's subscribers growing to millions so you can make videos of trying trains and capsule hotels abroad! this is my favorite channel!!!!
thanks keiko, will keep up my work then.
So lovely how every station seems to have hospitality and souvenirs to offer passengers! In the USA, taking Amtrak (our cross country rail system), if you exited they might leave without you 🤣
thank you for this amazing video
That is truly one heck of a transformation to from the old 40yrs old commuter train to that very stylish and modern sleeper, I love the way the beds fold out of the seats, thank you for another very entertaining and informative video
I don't know if anyone has ever noticed this...but...after looking at probably a hundred international train excursions (which all are awesome), there is no trash or garbage on and around the tracks. How delightful.
Another certified banger 👌
Edit: Seeing the before and after shots of how they modified the train was super interesting and really well edited. Great stuff.
(Also, seeing you wave back to all the nice people on the platform was very wholesome 😊)
greetings from TÜRKİYE :)
Easily my favorite channel. Thanks again. Really hope to experience these train trips some day soon!
The most impressive part is I think this is the first long distance route like this that seems to have something at every stop. Here in usa, they'll only stop at each station for 5 minutes, but over there it seems like they have the time to get off and enjoy whatever local business came to the station that day! Seems so much more fun.
So relax☺️thank you!
And what a Splendid experience with you again....I dont know if my comment will catch your eyes or not but wanted to say that I never missed a single vlog of yours...and with your wits it becomes all the more enjoyable...just LOVE Japanese people and their incredible culture....already in love with Japan..hope to visit your beautiful country some day....All the Love and Well wishes sending from 🇮🇳 India...
thanks for watching all my videos Manaswita.
@@SoloSoloTravel Am honoured that you replied Sir...Arigatogozaimashta..😊😊..(please pardon me if i wrote the thank you part in Japanese wrong)...looking forward to more videos and experiences...
26 minutes flew by quietly thanks for the trip
I absolutely adore the culture of waving in Japan, and I loved how excited he was when someone walking by waved back at him! As someone from the southern US i think it's kind of similar to southern hospitality, and it's really interesting to see. Thanks for another great video!
Hi, I have many Japan train videos on my channel, check it out!😉
He tried many times before, almost nobody waved back in his previous videos. This video, he got real lucky.
Southern hospitality is a thing of the past.
They are waving like in the movie called “The Truman Show”
@@Rye_Toast It still exists but its always been rooted in a cruel facade.
The second bento was the most beautiful I've ever seen. It's a work of art for the eyes, and taste buds.
Thanks to this channel, I associate Japan with relaxing and peaceful. I would love to get a home in a Japanese suburb / village and live there 3 months out of the year. It seems like it would be so calming.
Very well done! I love the comparison transitions you did with the train before it was refurbished!
The transformation of the train is amazing..Such an interesting Video great fun...Love your sense of humor...Thank you
I'd be surprised if you haven't done comedy as a profession at least once in your life. Your subtitles are too funny dude hahaha That type of humor is extremely funny for me.
it's so wholesome when strangers are waving back to the passengers
I love how everyone waves at everyone at departure. 🥰
Lovely video as always! Thank you for letting us travel with you! ❤️
The fades between the old and the new train is so good.
this was so amazing I love the views and the way you show different places and all the food you had looked so tasty
Soo relaxing video 😍😍
What a great journey!
It seems the Ginga West Express is more of a tourist attraction in its own right, and not just a passenger train? It definitely seems like a wonderful experience.
Everytime you post a video I rush to watch it because I am so excited! Thank you for sharing these beautiful experiences with us who may not ever get to see them otherwise 🤍
Thank you so much for vedio it' make me happy 👍🏻👍🏻
I too hope that masterpiece is immortalized forever. It would easily be worth making a pilgrimage to Japan to see it someday.
I was disappointed that we didn't get a rating for that toilet, but I'm guessing it was B-tier at most.
I really like this train stars and moons and pretty trains thank you for letting me go with you on our train ride
NEW CONTENT YAY!!! i find your videos very relaxing, since i found your channel ive grown the habit of listening to train sounds to sleep better! I cant wait to sleep on a train myself.
Great video as always. By far ur channel's my favorite, u deserve more subscribers. Love from Pakistan🇵🇰
i love the calm and relaxing vibes in his videos :)
That grain of rice slingshotting from the cupcake wrapper(?) at 6:20 sent me laughing lol 😂
I always watch until the end 💗😾
What impresses me the most is the inteligence of the subtitles. Sooo good and funny! Keep going mt friend, salut from brazil
Hi from Turkey! Thanks for your kind congratulation.
These 25 minutes are most beautiful moments of my entire day 😍😍
Japan is so calm.
Thank you DUDE for subtitles It gives us feeling ❤❤
Another calm relaxing journey in the bag!
Calming vibe❤️
Thank you for another enjoyable video! The before and after shots were so cool.
I so wish we could cultivate an experience like this with trains in North America. I think it would be so much fun to go to different small towns, sample the local food that they're famous for, and then sleep peacefully as you roll off to the next town.
Really nice video quality on this one. I could almost feel the track vibrations in my chair. Thanks for a beautiful trip!
I’ve watched several of your train travel vlogs and I really admire the cleanliness and comfort of the trains and everything in general in Japan! Must be quite an enjoyable, comfortable experience. I’d like to experience it one day!
Western Express Ginga has become one of my favorite trains ever. Hard to believe it used to be just a metro train.
Loved the button. The colors were beautiful. Loved the video the.
1:59 i like the change of the scene lol
Looks so much fun. Great food.
IM GETTING ADDICTIVE TO IT!!!!!
I enjoy all your video creations. You are totally expanding my travel mind. Thank you for creating. You are an artist and so bleeping funny. I love your humor! Your videos fill me heart. Travel on!
Theres nothing like the soothing rocking of a train.
I think the lamp is my favorite part of the train, it sets the mood
You have the best job. And I've noticed Japanese people in particular love taking photos of trains. But it's still very quiet doesn't seem to be many people travelling there. Let's hope it all changes soon.
I love your videos; no voiceovers and the perfect amount of humor.
Been watching Japan's sleeper trains, and it feels as if I'm travelling with you! hahaha
Thank you for sharing your experiences! Been in Japan from 1986 to 2007, and it's
amazing how changes were made all these years! I'm all hoping I could go back and
visit Japan again! Been in many places mostly onsen hotels on business trips back
in time!
Been to Akihabara, shinjuku, shibuya, Ginza, Ikebukuro, Tokyo, then innaka toki de,
Gunma Ken, Tochigi Ken, Niigata, Gifu Ken, Gero onsen, Takayama, Takarazuka, Nagoya,
ect and Osaka. I truly miss Japan! It was my 2nd home for decades! Then I retired and
content myself watching Japan over UA-cam!
The excitement of the new journey, but sadness at it's end! BUT let's get ready for our next journey! Thank you for sharing.
having someone wave back must be the best feeling
