I'm glad you enjoyed it! It is common to see a lot of similar questions about Beast Mastery as some is community dependent, like pricing materials, or it is implied rather than stated, like Luck not being required. The sub-profession also involves multiple game systems and trader professions requiring a Beast Master to be knowledgeable in everything if they want to do it all in-house, which can be a lot to take on at first.
@@outofthisworldburrito I used to BM back in 2007, but it was still uncharted territory with lots of unknowns :) Happy to go back and now actually know what to do.
Thanks for this video! Was a great refresher for jumping back into BM. Trying to gather the items needed to build me a FEM suit now, those junk loot items aren't cheap!
I'm glad it was a helpful refresher course! The junk items for FEM suits can definitely go for a bit. If you are looking to save some credits you could always try to join an Imperial or Rebel Hoth run. If you don't loot what you need (e.g. unidentified bones) you can always sell the other junk loot for a decent price.
before i quit due to the changes in unlocking jedi slot, my main was a beast master/ sniper. when hunting force sensitives, i would send out one rancor and start sniping when it got halfway to target. i would then recall first rancor to heal it up and send out second rancor when first one was half health
Loved the video!!! Could Jedi use creature handling? If i want a rancor then id have to go dark side, coz lite side is a tank. What is best profession to go with it. Your had medic and bounty hunter.
I'm glad you loved the video! To answer your question, yes, Jedi can be a Beast Master. The reason it isn't popular is because the Jedi skill tree is fairly demanding when it comes to Expertise points meaning you'll be missing a core aspect of Jedi if you allocate more than 1 point to the Beast Mastery tree. For example, you could lose Improved Saber Block or an important skill line in the Path Tree, like improved healing for LSJ or Suffocation for DSJ. Meanwhile professions like Medic can still get all of their healing abilities while putting most of their Expertise points into Beast Mastery and Bounty Hunter will only miss some passive bonuses, debuffs, or defensive cooldowns. Of course you don't need to invest +20 Expertise points to make a successful Beast Master, it just depends what you want to get out of the pet. My advice is always give what interests you a try! I've met a few players who really enjoy, and are successful at, Jedi Beast Master so don't let popular recommendations stop you. Worst case scenario is you find it isn't for you and you switch to something else.
Just want to say it's totally worth keeping 10pt lyase enzymes too and 9pt orange lyase. The orange lyase market is harsh and players like myself mutating pets buy 9/10/11 orange lyase in bulk.
Apologies for another question but Google is not helping once again 😕...I started my incubators 1 on each character, put everything in including power and started them both..time done was 1 day 2 hrs..come back to them when they were done but didn't give me a form egg option on radial..rather it said "experiment" again with same DNA still there and no mats like it restarted..is this normal?
@@rolawrence036 I don't think you can add power after starting an incubation session since it locks in the specific power you're using for calculations.
I don't know if you still answer questions but here's mine that I can't find a answer to...Started crafting my very first pet in a incubator..put power in, all the enzymes and experimented the started..said it will take 1 day 3 hrs to complete. Logged off and came back on about 30 mins later and the incubator was empty doing nothing and all mats gone...did I do something wrong or could it be a bugged incubator from before the patch in April 2024
Incubator sessions can be cancelled if the incubator is picked up/stored or, more commonly, if you start a second session in another incubator since 1 character can only have 1 active incubator at a time. If you started the incubation session near a server reset then there could've been a few minutes of rollback that occurred which may have cancelled the session too but that's really rare. I'm not sure about the bug but if you want to be safe then you could discard the incubator and get another one. If you have a hard time finding an affordable one you can reach out to me in-game (Rohko or Orrito IGN) and I can get you something.
My guy!! Fantastic video! I’ve been waiting for this video for like 20 years!!! Excellent excellent excellent!!
I'm glad I was able to deliver!
Very informative buddy. I remember asking you half of these questions on stream 😂 Thumbs up for this vidjah, more plz.

That's a lot of rancor to suddenly deal with in a fight.
i used them mainly to hunt force sensitives, they had 14k hp on average, main way for me to unlock my jedi slot

Yes, there are 3 sessions to incubation before you can formulate an egg. See: swglegends.com/forums/showthread.php?1361-a-simple-beastcrafting-guide
Crap...so am I screwed if I run out of power before that time or can you add more power to the incubator without cleansing it
