Toyota Corolla Replace License Plate Light Bulb 2003 To 2008

In this video I show you how to change and replace the license plate light bulb lamp on my 2006 Toyota Corolla. The trunk panel inside the trunk needs to be removed and I show you how to do this the right way. I show you step by step how instructions on how to replace your license plate light bulb in your 2003 to 2008 Toyota Corolla.

Great vid! I never get how everyone has such luck in videos though when I did this the socket were so tight I had to use pillars to get them lose. Unfortunately chipped the plastic because of the teeth but didn’t break it

The owners manual says I can replace every other light in this car myself… except this one. “You may damage the car, take it to a dealer”. What damage can I possibly do to the car that can be worse than replacing a headlight or a rear light? It’s baffling to me. It’s not like the license plate light is a critical part of the car.

Exactly! I couldn't believe that advice either about taking it to the dealer -- for something this simple?? I just needed to find someone's UA-cam video for the proper way to remove the bulb without breaking anything. With as old as my car is, voiding the warranty isn't even the issue.

Maybe it's just for the headlight bulbs, but I thought the gloves were to protect the bulb from oils on your skin.
