Creases are normal for the flex points, but the toe cap creasing and collapsing is not, especially for patent leather. That said, these shoes were only ever designed to be used for one game by MJ. After that, all his shoes looked well broken in and rough.
I'm happy with my pair, no quality issues on my end. First pair of 11s I'm keeping, I always loved the Concords but I found that they age like milk. I think this pair answers all the concerns regarding material choices I've had with my favorite Jordan 11 of all time.

I am in Las Vegas and can confirm the outlet niketown sold multiple size runs of gratitude 11s at retail. And a couple cool grey 11s at retail price as well. Love this sneaker purchased multiple pairs to wear. SNEAKERS ARE SUPPOSED TO CREASE
The patent leather is super thin compared to years past. It hasnt been this thin since the baron low 11s. You could wear the past few 11s and have 0 creasing cuz it was a thicker cut.
I love my pair personally! Really love the leather upper and happy that it was easy to purchase. The creasing doesn't bother me at all. It's just something that Ive let go years ago. Shoes are meant to be worn and these things are natural.

This is my take on this shoe I still have DS Concord 11s so I wasn’t hurting for these but I’m not mad at anyone that went after these they are straight flames 🔥 but that price tag was a stretch and that’s why these are sitting and doing what they’re doing now but if I can get these below retail I’ll pick them up when I can get them!💯
I've never been a huge fan of 11s, partly because I think patent leather looks cheap and they remind me of marching shoes, but these are kind of nice with the white leather instead of the quick-to-yellow mesh.
Also I love how calm you are in your videos. So different from the rest of the other sneaker videos I watch. I became a new subscriber a couple videos ago.
I keep the paper stuffing that came with the shoes inside after each wear and don't have an issue with creasing. Plus I rotate out the ones I wear so I'm not in the same pair too frequently. But at the end of the day, just wear the damn shoes and be happy.

As a person who has had to wear patent leather everyday for work. The material creases. And the shoes I wore had thicker leather and was made to be worn, marched in and beat into the ground. They crease after 1-2 days regardless.
I got the 11’s from got in Nov . I luv them! Yes they will crease but none of my 11’s are destroyed by creasing! The 11’s are the only Jordan’s I will buy and own and I am 52😊

I don’t mind creases at all I wear all of my J’s but there is a noticeable difference with the leather look at your gratitude patent leather versus your cherries 11s. The gratitude patent leather is significantly thinner.

dude sometimes people even wear the wrong size and those kinds of pairs get messed up quick. I normally like wearing 9.5 but on some of these Js I can get away with 9 and not like my toes touch the end of the shoes but they're fitting like a glove and I swear that it helps with the creasing.
Yeah they did sell out but it took almost two hours. I got on at 10:30 and could still get my size 8 1/2 but I only want the Concords or the Cherry’s when they release again so I passed.
I copped a pair for myself and one for my wife, ours came with no issues at all. I prefer these over the concords because of the leather over the ballistic mesh for cleaning purposes. I’m not super pressed to keep ‘em perfect but if they happen to smudge or happen to stain, it’ll be easier to clean opposed to the mesh.
Not all 11 crease my cherry 11 haven’t creased but my gratitude 11 creased first day but I still love them and you can’t notice the crease because when your walking your not looking down

All shoes crease if you wear them regularly I love the air max 95 & after a while they go wide at the front & don’t look the same only shoes I can think of that don’t crease are adidas superstar shell toe which starts to go yellow after time

I've got about 45 pairs now, down from my high of 70. They're meant to be worn, not beaten to death, there's a guy at my local Walmart working in dairy as a stocker, wearing 8s and others, and I'm like, dude, nah, wear them, but not where they'll get destroyed. I take care of mine, wore my 2s yesterday, will wear these when they arrive to the Sun Bowl to go with my Notre Dame stuff. Trying to keep them under glass, yeah, as someone who's collected Star Wars figures, baseball cards, comic books, these aren't your retirement fund.
Nope, I have the 72-10s that I’ve had since they released and those have barely any creasing and I’m notorious with creasing my shoes because of the way I walk. That patent leather isn’t like the usually patent leather we get out of the holiday 11s. People aren’t just complaining about the creasing just because. People are spending $250 and should expect better QC/quality from Nike at the end of the day.

I received my pair yesterday (I’m in the Uk) was worried about the shape of patent leather on the toe but no problems I prefer the mesh as I have a pair of cherry reds but I can see the gratitude lasting longer & being easier to clean. There’s a lot of stock they even have them on JD sports over here.
I think the issue is that there is no lining between the patent leather. On foot, you can tell the patent leather is thinner, and the lining just isn't there to reinforce the patent leather. The first 11s I have had show my toes completely, outlined when I wiggle them (if that makes sense).

one of my laces was about 10-15 cm shorter than the other - lucky these sat hard in AUS, was able to return and order a new pair (quality TBC)

These are an absolute homerun. First time I've ever bought Js and for a split second, I thought about not wearing them. They're that nice. I think the problem is the shoes crease out the box quicker than 11’s used to . I had a friend trying to talk me outta buying but fuck outta here those concords
I got them for retail on release day sneakers app I wasn’t going to pay resale even though the prices aren’t super crazy yet

They sold out in my town in the central valley CA. Im happy to have gotten a pair on line. I dont have the concords but these will do. Im collecting these, if i want to wear them, ill look into buying another pair cause i know theyll crease.
The problem is not the sneaker. The problem is people want the shoes & when they are readily available... People downplay them.
I ordered mines and have them on the way they're like the best Jordan retro release of the year but what about the release of the OG Orlando Nike Air Penny 2 i heard theyre flying off the shelves.

I've got about 45 pairs now, down from my high of 70. They're meant to be worn, not beaten to death, there's a guy at my local Walmart working in dairy as a stocker, wearing 8s and others, and I'm like, dude, nah, wear them, but not where they'll get destroyed. I take care of mine, wore my 2s yesterday, will wear these when they arrive to the Sun Bowl to go with my Notre Dame stuff. Trying to keep them under glass, yeah, as someone who's collected Star Wars figures, baseball cards, comic books, these aren't your retirement fund.
Nope, I have the 72-10s that I’ve had since they released and those have barely any creasing and I’m notorious with creasing my shoes because of the way I walk. That patent leather isn’t like the usually patent leather we get out of the holiday 11s. People aren’t just complaining about the creasing just because. People are spending $250 and should expect better QC/quality from Nike at the end of the day.

I received my pair yesterday (I’m in the Uk) was worried about the shape of patent leather on the toe but no problems I prefer the mesh as I have a pair of cherry reds but I can see the gratitude lasting longer & being easier to clean. There’s a lot of stock they even have them on JD sports over here.
Do your uk pairs have a yellow out sole?

I think the issue is that there is no lining between the patent leather. On foot, you can tell the patent leather is thinner, and the lining just isn't there to reinforce the patent leather. The first 11s I have had show my toes completely, outlined when I wiggle them (if that makes sense).
