Green Center for Systems Biology at UT Southwestern Medical Center

The Ceceil H. and Ida Green Center for Systems biology aim to discover and understand a 'circuit theory' for biology - a set of powerful and predictive principles that explain how networks of biological components are wired up and achieve complex functionalities. Researchers are bringing this framework to bear on two important biomedical problems -- cancer metastasis and infectious diseases. And graduate students and young fellows are finding that The Green Center fosters an environment that encourages collaboration and interdisciplinary science at its core.
