- In late 2023 Super Mario RPG received a brand new remake for the Nintendo Switch. Is it any good? That's what I am discussing today!!!!!

Ive never played the original, but received the remake as a Christmas gift this year and i really enjoyed my time with it! The music was a standout for me too, awesome soundtrack. Can definitely see why people love this game so much. :)
It's just a solid remake of a solid classic and that's what makes it so damn good. Glad you enjoyed the game!!!!

Mario as a silent protagonist is just great.
Good stuff, my good man! I thought the remake outdid the original too, especially for those boss rematches. I had NO idea Booster could be fought in the original, for one!
Its something I always forget but yeah its super cool!!!!!! This little game always hides secrets to be found on multiple playthroughs
After I talked to slim Kirby about a credit card RPG. I told him I wanted to meet him at a public place and he blocked me for that if he knew that I will literally go to a concert just to get the singer a piece of paper that says I want Microsoft to create thrown social mediaplatform, he wouldn’t have blocked me he’s on twitch

Oh man I got this shirt SO many years ago from The Yetee when it was either one of their daily shirts or one of the GDQ shirts I can remember.
It's literally just brand new graphics over essentially the same game and story. A new extra boss and a couple of quality of life gameplay optimizations doesn't change that. That is not a remake. That is a remaster. It's a perfectly fine remaster, but a remaster nonetheless.
It’s more of a port with better graphics, I love how they didn’t change Mario’s height though, he looks so cute rahhh

(First time player) This was the only game where I didn’t know who the main final boss was.
I thought Exor was the final boss but it turns out there was still more and I love that in games.
Also this game made me cry at the end.
I think the reveal of Exor not being the "Smithy" you hear so much about and going into the actual final dungeon of the game via him is one of the coolest things a Mario game did back then. Such a good gotcha moment. Glad to hear you really enjoyed the game as a first timer and had the great surprise of the game!!!!
