@@velvetoasisevents4647 so glad it was helpful! It’s hard to budget when you just don’t know and we ran into that as well so we try to provide as much info as possible.
@@WanderedOff we actually just bought property on Secret Beach and I have whole lot of hotel points so we decided to kill 2 birds with 1 stone. We hope to start building around November of next year
@@eyesrod1649 that is awesome!! Congrats! We stayed there with points too. And we looked at property at Secret Beach also. Haven’t pulled trigger yet tho. Also looking in Costa Rica.
@@spmqqse5621 We didn’t smell anything thankfully during our trip but the night we lost power and there was zero noise from AC.. we could hear machines running late at night and we figured it was from the sewage ponds.
Update: Stayed at the Mahogany and not a roach in sight. It was nice but I enjoyed the Blue Zen Resort in Caye Caulker wayyyyyyyy better. I think Mahogany Bay is a lil over priced. But that’s just my opinion.
Great video! Thank you for sharing the prices. This is the first video that ive seen showing how much everything is.

Thanks for this video, we definitely know what to expect when we get there this September
Glad it was helpful! We researched like crazy and feel like we had no idea what we were walking into. Have a great trip!!

Thank you for sharing the adventure.
Thanks for watching!! 😎
did you take them to the municipal sewage settling ponds., near bye......that creates that wonderful scent...when the wind is from the south-east....?

I just booked a spot for the week also on street 3. Sucks we won't have access to the private beach cause it wasn't through Hilton
@@jovhanrichards6114 enjoy your trip!! Maybe you can sneak onto the taxi 😬
I highly recommend Will with Remax in San Pedro
We watch his UA-cam channel!
The roaches 😳🙅🏾♀️
When were you guys there? We stayed the week of Valentine’s Day!
First week of Feb. we left the 9th. Did you enjoy your stay? The roaches were really our only complaint.
Gotcha. We arrived right after on the 11th. We actually stayed at The Watermark just north of the bridge. We enjoyed it! Glad you did ❤
So they have roaches??? 😮 I’ll be there next week n I’m already turned off 😢
We only saw them the one night in the bathroom. No where else.
Take bug spray. You can’t be outside at dusk without it!!
I have stayed at mahogany many times it’s beautiful . I love this place . One roach is not a big deal

My condo is far nicer than this, 1,200 Sq ft plus a view of the barrier reef and two bedroom and two bathrooms with a full kitchen. And, no bugs!
We stayed at the Hilton using points. We wouldn’t stay there again. But there are definitely other areas of Belize that we want to explore.
Where is your place with no bugs??
