I am planning a scouting trip in March or April to see if I want to relocate there when I retire in July. Your video was very enjoyable and informative. I don't drink and don't plan on getting my first tattoo or anything, lol, but overall, watching your video was worth every minute. Particularly liked the stuff on the North island. You don't see many videos featuring that on UA-cam, at least what I have seen so far. Thank you for your efforts in recording and posting this.
I'm loving your video; bringing tears to my eyes! I've made 3 trips to Belize - spent time in both SP and CC - like both, but next trip I am planning on a month in CC - maybe boat over to SP for a few days - made some friends there! Just trying to find lodging that I can afford and stay a month - the prices have increased at least double since '19. In '16 I spent a month there looking for property, but we didn't find anything, so didn't buy - could kick myself - now can't afford to buy!
Oh, and I didn't see you eat any Ceviche! When we were there for that month - we ate it everyday - at that time, we fell in love with the Ceviche in SP - Waraguma's!
Caye Caulker is what made us fall in love with Belize. We went there for our 30th anniversary and have been back three more times. We always stay at Amanda's Place. We wanted to purchase property on the north end of the island, but by the time we were ready to buy the prices had doubled, if not tripled. We ended up buying two adjoining lots, one oceanfront, near Sarteneja. We're hoping that Sleepy village will be more like Caye Caulker once the improvements are finished on the Corozal-Sarteneja road.
I almost forgot to mention we stayed in the house next to Tina's- his name is Raymond. I really loved the property and the pool was spectacular, however the voracious, apocalyptic hordes mosquitoes kept us from being outside. The locals said the mosquitoes were horrible that year. By day two I had over 140 mosquito bites and was miserable for the rest of our trip.
Awesome video Rick, Now Rick and his family owns a resort in Caye Caulker. They really fell in love with Caye Caulker. Just like us. lol

Very well done!
We will be visiting hopefully soon. Thanks for the tour. If you like Travel and Fashion, give us a subscribe. Maybe one day we can share a drink!
