There is external storage and an external weapon rack on the insides of the port and starboard wings. It also has a 2nd entrance/exit at the cockpit 'ball'.
Lol someone dropping into your hangar… that was the only way I could get landed at Orison last night. Queue kept vanishing after a few minutes and I’d have to re-queue at no 15. Eventually I just slipped into someone’s hangar as they left, got ejected into the lobby, and after a 5000 aUEC impound fee, I could unload my cargo.
What do think about the turn rate and maneuverability? Is there a big difference between the base guardian and QI? I got the QI and thinking to melt it to get the base if it maneuvers better
It’s very Star Wars TIE interceptor esq. And it’s seriously expensive. But the maneuvering capabilities are crazy good. Weapons do fire a bit slow. Perhaps changing out the power plant?
Man I love everything about this ship. What do you use for eye/head tracking? I checked out the about sections on your linked places but wasn't able to find what it was.
Feel like it would have been a little better if CIG had made one Guardian have a quantum dampener and the other have a quantum interdictor. Otherwise there doesn’t seem to be much reason to have the standard Guardian over the QI variant.
Great looking ship. No idea why you need that door between the 2 component areas. Just another door to open. Not sure what benefit there is by having those 2 component rooms split up. Love that CIG thought this needed to move the arms in some pointless animation from landing mode to flight mode when all that happens is the pads lower for the landing gear. Then when going to flight mode they decided to make the arms move inwards to reduce visibility when you need more visibility when flying.
I believe those handlebars are like what you used to find on the passenger side of cars, often sports cars, in the 60's and 70's: they are usually called "Jesus handles" since when the car goes out of control you are supposed to grab them and start shouting "JESUS!!!"

It seems to have a notably large health pool compared to other heavy fighters according to erkul, granted it also has only 1 s2 shield . I’m hoping you’re right though 🤞
same thing that could go wrong in an F-15. Missiles are not armed until the pilot releases them. They are not sitting next to live wareheads hanging on their wings loaded with fuel.
@@sorincaladera936well the glass in this universe is a strong as steel so anywhere you put the missles is the same problem on such a small ship where do you think in this ship would actually protect you from those missles chain detonating.

I went with the Qi. I didn’t see a reason to own the base or both.
Just and FYI- the two flat panels on the inside of the lower two wings are storage and a weapons rack accessed from outside.

Got both, cant waot to see what they can do. Especially in group v group missions.
No cargo grid, but that doesn't stop anyone transporting cranberries. Keep that in mind.
