I own a RE Thunderbird(where it all began, it was an instant love) GT Continental 650(Dr. Mayhem) and planning to get Himalayan this Diwali if everything goes well.
a correction - they never built interceptors in india until they started making the new ones in 2017; they built only bullets in india for about 50 years from 1955 till around 2005 when the other models started entering and gaining ground.
Excellent video!!! Thank you. I have a 2020 Interceptor 650 and absolutely love it. I have been telling people Royal Enfield was the first motorcycle manufacturer in the world. I did not know about the 1984 Hildenbrand.
Fairly decent quick peek at the history, but you need to pay better attention to the photos and how they correspond to the narrative. A lot of the photos during the WWI period are backed up by photos of WWII aircraft. Also there are at least two places where German troops riding military BMW bikes appear.
The production isn't continuous. When RE was closed in the UK the brand was gone until the end of '90. Until that it was Enfield India. Not Royal Enfield. So sorry, that's not a continuation.

1:11 you say the Bullet was first produced in 1901. That is incorrect. It was 1931.
Hi. Some incorrect facts here. The Bullet model was first made in 1931 not 1901. Otherwise great film! 🙂
So was the bullet born in 1901 as you say at 1.10 or 1932 as you say later on in the video at 4.10 ?🤔
I own a Royal Enfield Meteor 350 , It is a good bike.
Just want to know what is the right color of royal enfield classic 500 for the royal navy or for the U.S. navy?🙂

Hey man I was just curious about a detail you missed out- Why did they stop manufacturing in the UK in 1964 and why did they shift totally to India?
They went bankrupt.
@@GemsOfIndianRight why they went bankrupt while thier bike selling like hot cakes?
@@rockyboy2806 Coz the people of UK stopped buying it coz of financial problems.
@@rockyboy2806 the UK economy was down the tubes.
